Starbucks — Restaurant in North Warwickshire

Amazing staff! Usually, it isn't easy to find such polite and helpful and caring staff members in motorway services locations. Usually, these places are busy and it is understandable if service staff members wouldn't pay much attention to each and every customer. But the team at Starbucks here is still walking that extra mile to deliver the best experience for their customers. They are extremely polite and helpful in every manner and treat kids very kindly. Even when I bought food and drinks for my family, they were paying attention to detail making sure that we buy what exactly we expect. We were on the way back home after visiting North Wales and I suddenly got a cough while I was on a phone call. The staff members were kind enough to quickly bring a cup of water with ice cubes.

The place is spacious and clean. Easily accessible. Kids-friendly.

With memories I had of Starbucks in many places in the USA, I didn't really try Starbucks in the UK (always stuck to Pret or Costa). However, I recently started to try Starbucks in the UK after having a good experience at the Gretna Green services in February. I just installed their mobile App after that and started to visit Starbucks frequently. I honestly believe that their customer service in the UK is significantly better. There are other coffee shops that used to be great in customer service, but after covid19 lockdown times, I never experienced the same anywhere else yet. Therefore, I believe that I will look for Starbucks outlets as the first choice when I go to our office in London and whenever I drive on motorways with my family during...

Despite sitting in and making it clear that I'm sitting in.. I received my drink in a takeaway cup. This was not only myself but 6 other customers who were also sitting in. This is four hours before closing. To top it off ... I noticed I paid for the takeaway cup (5p) on top of the cost of the coffee. I wonder how many people are getting these 5p charges without knowing or being made aware. All adds up.

Dirty! 2 customers and 3 staff. 1 serving, 1 messing around with cakes and 1 standing near the sugar area but not actually doing much. Sugar area was running low on everything and as dirty as it comes. It would have taken a damp cloth to sort. Rubbish still on tables, sugar on seats along with a lot of dust. Outside seating area had ashtrays overflowing with a lot of Rubbish on the tables and floor. Staff so far behind with just 2 customers....
