Let's get the good out of the way - the selection of beers and ciders was decent and not overpriced which was encouraging. The clientele was decent, the usual Coalville troglodytes don't seem to venture in here (presumably because of the lack of Carling), although when we went it was fairly quiet and a little bit lacking in atmosphere. The main downside for myself was the service. In a business such as this where you have such a close connection with your customers, it's vital to make everyone feel welcome, especially your first timers. When we went in we actually felt like we were inconveniencing the proprietor and interrupting the conversation he was having with his mate.
