Our first visit here on the Saturday night just before Valentines. Pre-booked a table which was good as it was busy. Also noisy but that can't be helped. This place would have received a 5* for food only...but service loses it a *. The older waiter (owner?) was very abrupt with us when we arrived and hovered whilst we were deciding on our order...pressing us three times to place order whilst we were still reading the menu. Drinks and starters arrived promptly, and were good. Feta cheese triangles for my wife and Dolma for me - both excellent. Nice fresh flatbread too. Main courses arrived with just the right delay between courses and were also very good. I had a lamb dish, my wife has moussaka and we shared a salad. However, that's where the service ended. No one asked whether we were ok, no offers of drink refills and when we finished our meals no one provided a dessert menu. Eventually (felt like 10-15 minutes) I flagged down a passing surly waitress to ask for dessert menu. Ordered cheesecake and baklava and again, both excellent. Then, no offer of coffee or drink refills. Ended up having to again flag down a waiter for the bill. Overall a good meal, at a reasonable price - but let...

So after hearing such positive reviews I thought I’d try this restaurant for my birthday for the first time. We had booked a table for 4 and arrived for them not having a clue that I’d booked therefore had to stand at the bar 15/20 mins for a table(wasn’t the greatest start) anyway we all had a starter (which yes was nice) but my main meal come completely wrong to which I told them politely that my order was wrong so a server(manger) whoever took the plate and came back within seconds with the same plate minus the stuff I didn’t want (he just picked out what I didn’t ask for and may I add allergic too off the plate instead or re-making the dish wish may I add cost £23 and made to feel uncomfortable.I’m gutted because I’ve heard such good things but for some reason my first experience was terrible therefore we will never be...

Not the usual standard tonight. We have been to Imge many times over the years. Feel rather let down. Food and drink orders were incorrect - the starter bread didnt arrive, when we asked if we should have been given some, they said did we want more, we had to point out we hadn't been given any (this was atleast 20 mins after arrival). The drinks didnt have ice - as requested. When the food arrived there were chips on one meal instead of rice that had been ordered. When the plate waitress changed this the plate was returned with a false eyelash on it. The swordfish was so salty my friend couldnt finish her meal and had to leave it. The steamed veg was rather sparse. No one came to check whether our meals were ok at any point. Before leaving the eyelash was discreetly mentioned to a waitress but the only response...
