Anne's Tearoom — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Awesome fry. Been going here for about 20 years, but today a young guy with a black "the north face" hoody was just shockingly bad. No hello, smile, thank you, you are welcome. He just walked over threw the menus down and said there's your menus. Brought us food and just set all the plates down at the corner of the table (same with our drinks) and never set them Infront of each of us and/or asked us who's plate is whos. I was just so shockingly disgusting. That's no way to treat a customer. He does not deserve to work at all and he will only ruin this lovely cafes rep!!!! Two tables were left dirty for 20+ mins while he just stood behind the checkout doing nothing but stare into space like he never wanted...

Visited this spot on a Saturday late morning. Was fairly busy, got a cappuccino. Got a mixed omelette with a side of chips and beans. The food serving was very generous and I enjoyed. The service was good and food was served quickly and to my preference. I’m not sure if they had staff missing but felt bad for the lad who was front of house as he was taking orders, completing drinks and cleaning tables. Called in today with my wife and daughter, was absolutely starving,we ordered a large fry, goujons and chips and cowboy supper, service from the two lads was first class, super quick, food was piping hot and absolutely lethal, all three meals were excellent, good portions, chips dry and fluffy, fry was on point, daughters goujons were class, compliments to the chef, really impressed with this cafe, priced very reasonable, will definitely be back when up in Portrush, cant recommend this...
