Big Al's Pizza & BBQ Smokehouse — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

We have always ordered from big als and never really had an major issue but last night was a disgrace we ordered a kids meal 16 bbq chicken wings a pit burger a tub of coleslaw and honey bbq loaded fries. To start with the loaded fries were ment to have shredded chicken but it was actually crispy battered chicken which was OK there was no salad just what looked to be red cabbage and then the sauce that was ment to be honey bbq was nothing of the sort I tasted of pure vinegar it was disgusting when I rang to say I thought I had been sent to wrong order the fella I spike to was the most ignorant person I've ever spoke to I don't know what way he was brought up but he should be ashamed his reply was you got what you ordered I said I definitely havnt he said that what I ordered was a mustard dressing in return I said look I ordered honey bbq that's what is on the website he then replied I didn't make the website so it's not my problem. I replied are you actually being serious how dare you speak to someone like that I am simply trying to sort out why what I have gotten is not what was on the website he proceeded to say not his problem an he will speak to me what ever way he wants because I was apparently screaming down the phone at him like a demon 😂. I was most definitely not I have worked in retail and the food industry an would never and have never behaved like that and would never scream at someone. He then hung the phone up on me I rang back to speak to a manger an could gear him mouthing about me to someone saying she wants a manager now. The person I then spoke to said the dressing is actually a honey mustard sauce not honey bbq as stated on the website and agreed to send something else which was cheaper no refund of the difference and said sorry gor the fella ge was just upset this is ridiculous he was the one giving the attitude from the min he answered. Also we ordered 16 bbq chicken wings we received 12 and the bbq sauce strangely enough also tasted of vinegar so it seems they maybe use it to water sauce down or something but this was an...

I’ve been ordering from big Al’s for years And think the food is really good and you get what you pay for but last few orders have been slightly wrong but just ate away and got on with it. Tonight I joked to wife wonder what we will actually get tonight and low and behold delivery driver appeared and said £21 I was like what and looked at receipt and said onion rings and the driver said “ nothing to do with me” so reluctantly I paid and gave him a piece of my mind but on hindsight I wish had just sent him away with food as was stuck with food I didn’t order I honestly think they need to hire someone who actually knows what customer service is as staff who have been there a while are really good but please don’t put ppl on the phone who are completely fluent! Needless to say I’ve had enough and won’t be wasting anymore of my hard earned cash again just hope it picks up for the rest...

I don't normally write reviews but Big Als is such an incredible place I just had to! I've never eaten such excellent pizza, burgers and BBQ. The range of pizza toppings is amazing. Try the pulled pork - it is so tender it just falls apart and the BBQ chicken is the best I've ever tasted - both always cooked to the same high standard. I can't fault the service either, orders are taken promptly and food arrives hot 100% of the time.
