Coastal Coffee - Mauds — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

This is my second review of coastal coffee and it's still as good as it was when I wrote the first. At that time they had Joni Lutzmans as chef and he was brilliant, now opened his own restaurant/bistro so how has coastal coffee fared without him? Well they no longer do the evening meals but everything else is the same. We go there regularly for breakfast and the staff including owner are lovely. I like omelettes but rarely order them as they are never cooked to my liking - here however they know just how I like it and it's excellent whoever cooks it. I like it just a bit soft/wet on the inside - just ask them to cook according to your taste of you like it drier or wetter and they will do it. Husband likes poached eggs and they are perfect, add to this two excellent large americanos just over a tenner - perfect! Place is always full - people know you get good food and lovely ice creams here so there are drivers, walkers, cyclists etc. Thanks...

First time in Whitehead and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of options we had for lunch when looking up Google. BUT we believe we picked the right one after checking out reviews and seeing so many of the locals using the establishment. Delicious food served in a very simple, friendly and genuine welcoming way. Very competitively priced and loads of room. Outside dining option as well (although in was Nov for our visit)...

My husband myself & my Granddaughter were here yesterday for lunch Saturday 18th September the place was absolutely packed with people inside & out. I have nothing but praise for the 3 girls that were working there they handled it with patience & good manners. The meal we had was delicious I am here often during the week with my friend Cecilia & my husband & we eat here regularly Well done...
