Golden Bowl — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

I ordered from here with a delivery time of 7:45pm this was then changed to 8pm at 8:30pm I rang to ask where my food was + the girl said it was being made up at that time + going out in the next delivery, I rang again at 9pm to cancel + requested a refund as I can't eat too late at night only to be told conveniently it had just left for delivery. I finally received my order at 9:10pm one hour and ten minutes late without any apology, I think under the circumstances good customer service would be to at least give a can/bottle of mineral free but they don't care about their customers just how much money they can put in their till. My dinner wasn't great chips, peas + gravy were all cold and the gravy was a congealed mess, the chicken was warmer but still not roasting. I don't think I'll order from here again + definitely would not recommend it to anyone. Very poor customer service and...

Made order on line for (( CRISPY SHREDDED HONEY CHILLI CHICKEN . What I got .. Order 40 mins late I got slightly sweet gluey looking sauce with chunks of chicken floating about in very soggy batter ... With a few bits of carrots a onion (( NO CHILLI OR EVEN THE HINT OF A FRESH ONE .. DISGUSTING WENT IN TRASH CHIPS JOINED .. FRIED RICE DRY OVER COOOKED NO PEAS CHICKEN DRY ...(( WENT IN TRASH UNEDABLE... ONLY THING THAT WAS OK WAS THE CURRY SAUCE .... WILL NEVER EAT FROM HERE AGAIN WHEN I SPEND MY MONEY ON FOOD I EXPECT IT OF A DECENT QUALITY OR TO THE DESCRIPTION OF FOOD (( SHREDDED CHILLI )) NONE OF ABOVE ....

I genuinely am shocked at how poor the reviews for this place are. We tried it when we had the really bad storms and no power for over 24 hours this was the only food place that was open. We have been several times since and honestly I can not fault it at all.

We only ever usually buy from The WM. So I wasn't expecting it to be great after trying a few other Chinese takeaways around the place I haven't enjoyed them but I was so pleasantly surprised. The beef curry is lovely. Soft noodles, s&s chicken balls are gorgeous!!

The girls on the phone are always really polite and helpful when ordering food they'll advise where you can save yourself money or get a better deal.
