KFC Coleraine - Hanover Place — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Well, I had placed order in advance for my son's 17th birthday (Yes, I know, but he has ADHD and didn't want to go out), He had ordered his particular box meal, and his siblings and my partner ordered ours. We had checked in to drive through about 2 or 3 mins before arriving, then sat another 5 minutes before getting to kiosk where we were told we had not placed an order. After a few minutes the guy came back and said they were preparing it. After several more mins he produced us with drinks and a dismal bag. We asked if there was more to come. He replied "it's all there". 6 miles to home to give my son his birthday dinner he asked for,,,,,,it wasn't there! Nor was a chicken fillet burger meal!. I rang Coleraine spoke to assistant manager who made me out to be a liar! Why? Why would I spoil my child's birthday with that crap!? I asked to speak to manager. She said she was assistant manager in charge. I said I would email her manager. Then suddenly manager was there. Kat, the manager, was actually very good, and knew I was being honest, apologised and said she would make missing order up for us. Thing is, my son's birthday was completely ruined as we never got to all sit and have dinner together as this process was over an hour and we have drove from Belfast to make sure he had a good birthday dinner. Update 29/04/23 They have definitely improved drastically since my last review. Updated store, new, friendlier staff. And most importantly, the food always seems to be spot on! Can't really fault them now, if delivery was available it would be 5 stars!

It's just ok, can be a little hit and miss regarding the quality! Sometimes it's perfect, crispy skin, moist meat....others times (more often than not), it's greasy and bland! I suppose it depends on the staff working that day! I was actually having a family party a while ago and ordered 2 buckets, only to be told there wasn't enough chicken....in Kentucky Fried 'CHICKEN'! Lol The staff are generally good, some of the younger ones could do with smiling a bit, I know you're at work, but it's not the customers fault. They can often be far from the smiling, "Have a nice day!" attitude I believe KFC and most US companies promote. Still, it's the only one here, Portrush KFC used to be awesome though! Bring back...

Had been getting out of here since childhood, past couple of years the quality has went downhill, on my last visit I received a moulded bap, half filled cup of pepsi & most of the chips where over cooked.. i contacted KFC on two attempts with pictures of the food,to be ignored, the time before this myself & husband had got pepsi max .. it had no taste of pepsi max just of chemicals, i went and confronted the staff, to be told i was lying, the guy made me stand and wait 15 minutes as he drank a full cup of pepsi, i then told him it was pepsi max not plain pepsi, he told me if i had a problem to speak to a manager and stop wasting his time, also had a tub of gravy that had 3 stickers of the date to be used by witch had been covered over with new ones.. it was supposed to be thrown out the previous lunchtime.. i asked then to speak to the manager to be given a email address, i wrote to them explaining and they never got back to me.
