KFC Bangor County Down - South Circular Road — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

The last time I was here I noticed a huge improvement not just in the seated area but also outside and the staff have either been replaced or extra staff employed,it has been refurbished and has made the place look and feel alot cleaner. I prefer to go in and order my food even if I'm taking away, there always is a huge tail back of traffic waiting and find that going in is alot quicker. The staff have always been pleasant even though they have been very over stretched on weekends around 5 or 6. I would like to say previous visits here have not been as enjoyable, it was always dirty, litter everywhere, dirty tables,unbrushed floors, carpark with flocks of birds due to overflowing litter bins,the coating on the chicken slid off due to being saturated in grease and cold chips and incomplete orders. On my last visit there was a huge improvement thankfully, it was a last minute apprehensive decision and I had been told about the refurbishment etc im glad I did and have returned twice and will continue to use as long it's kept at...

I walked down with the kids on a Saturday night to get a nice treat of ice cream sundaes. After waiting an age to get served (10 to 15 mins), I was told that the ice cream machine was not working. Not wanting to disappoint, I went for the Krushem instead as they seemed nice; a frozen treat coming in different flavours.

All I can say is that they were absolutely disgusting, and looked nothing like their picture. What was meant to be a frozen yoghurt type of desert came out as something like water/milk combined with ice and a sachet of something. It cost me £4.98 for 3 but I wasn't going to wait another 15 minutes to complain.

So off we went to the nearby Sainsbury's, with the kids in tears, and bought Dairy Milk ice creams.

Worst KFC ive ever been to, over the years its gotten really bad. Cleanliness, attitudes and food all disappointing, and the scan your code fiasco is a joke! Never working so not able to make use of promo deals, never had this problem with BK. Update May 2023, staff completely preoccupied with drive thru and collection orders. Almost pointless queuing unless you are prepared to wait a very long time, all customers should be given the same scale of priority. Update Nov 2023, so the new signature fries are very nice indeed I must say. In regards to the food in general - hit and miss really. I only go for the offers now mostly as I find it overpriced overall. Update April 2024, same old same old.
