KFC Larne - Redland Roundabout — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

I have to admit, I love a KFC original meal, but, as I've learned, from bitter experience, that the product, the staff, and entire experience of a KFC are no longer what they use to be! I called in here the other evening, and I wish now that I had driven past it and went to the fish and chip shop! My experience from the moment I arrived, till the second I left, was nothing short of a nightmare! It was totally disgusting, and in saying that, I am referring to the staff's disgusting attitude, to the disgusting food, well, what they sold as edible, to the filth and disgusting state of the toilets! Let me start in regard to the staff! When I arrived and opted to 'Dine in', there was no one else in the queue before me, yet I stood for a full thirteen minutes before the young came to take my order. She grunted to me a few times that she would be with me soon! What may you ask what she was doing???? Well, I'll tell you, she was on her mobile phone, then when she did, eventually, come to take my order, it seemed too much to be courteous and pleasant, but I got a response, again in a grunt from a wild animal, I asked for an original meal, with two pieces of chicken and frites. The chicken had greasy fat running out like a torrid river, and in asking for an original meal, I anticipated ordinary fries.All I wanted on them was salt, but I got only fries with spices on them. I only realised after I took a bite, but never once was I informed, and as I am allergic to many of these spices. After saying to the same young woman behind the counter, she says that comes automatically. To me, that is totally wrong, for people should be informed of the change of recipe, and more importantly, that should say there is spices on chips, which some people could be allergic to. The toilets were so disgusting, I just left and waited till I got home! Never again shall I ever be in this establishment again. I'll starve before I give them my custom again!! My family and I went here tonight for a quick dinner and we're sorry we bothered, we spent nearly £40 and talk about a waste of money! We choose table service waited about 15 minutes for our food which I can tell you wasn't easy when you've 2 kids 1 of which is autistic and isn't easy to keep entertained , when our food finally arrived it came in a takeaway bag with half our order missing no plates, cups, napkins, no chips ,a small bottle of juice when we'd paid for the large bottle when I took our order back up I was told they didn't have any plates, napkins or large bottles of juice they then practically threw the chips at me which turned out to be cold when i said id been charged for the large bottle i was told they couldnt do anything about it the system wouldn't let them !!!! The place it's self was stinking multiple dirty tables with dirty trays probably the reason why our food was brought to us in a bag and, over flowing bins , the staff seemed to not really care about anything but then again when you're employing teenagers to run the place it isn't really surprising, we weren't the only ones to complain a few other people did as well 1 lady went back to the counter on no less than 4 separate occasions, seems there's more effort and time put into the just eat etc driver's than the actual physical customer's if done that yous might fair better.very disappointed and will be in no hurry to...

Called into Larne KFC just before 10pm at the counter we were told the sit-in was closed. That wasn't a problem, we'd have a carry out. Placed our order for 2 meals and drinks, 2 corn on the cob and a tub of gravy. The girl serving us started making up our order, she lifted a tub of gravy from a heated drawer and placed it on the prep area. Then she went behind the counter a lifted through the tub of gravy. My husband and I stood and watched her pull the sticker of the top of the gravy tub and discard it! So when she came back around the counter I asked her why she'd removed the sticker that showed when the gravy was prepared and the time it should be discarded. She totally denied she had done it!! She replaced the gravy with a tub from a different drawer. Took our food home and when opening the corn on the cob we're noticed the use by date and time had also expired. Will never buy food from here again. Both the gravy and corn should have been discarded an hour and a half priory to me buying them. Sorry for the lengthy rant but if this happened to the food that is labelled is the chicken...
