Delivered through just eat system at 10:35pm and got a “thumbs up” from the restaurant who closed at 11pm and it said it was waiting for a driver to be assigned. We phoned at 11:10 and the girl was very blunt and quite frankly rude and said “we’re closed now everything’s off and getting cleaned down” blaming it solely on the driver for confirming it after 11. I disagree with this highly, as someone who works in fast food with just eat also, I understand that the food establishment confirmed the order and they should have been preparing it to be delivered. Even if yous are different in the sense of waiting for a driver before making the food, i feel it’s the establishments duty to honour their acceptance of the order being accepted and make it and get it to the customer. If yous don’t have faith in the delivery drivers confirming a time before you close then it’s your responsibility to turn off the ordering system at an appropriate time instead of shrugging it off and being rude about it. Yous should be taking equal responsibility for it. Customer service in this case is appalling. We were not recommended/advised if we were going to get a refund and when we asked she said the driver assigned would have to cancel the order (again I know the food establishment can also do this) and then a refund would be issued. We have no idea of when this will be. Really cross about it and seriously think some staff need to learn some basic manners. think yous should reconsider a time to shut off the system as well that’s appropriate instead of accepting orders to then just not do them because a driver isn’t assigned till after closing and leaving customers hanging and being rude to them when they call...

Last saturday around 5pm we went there and due to rush we ordered at kiosk and ordered banana shake , toffee latte , happy meal and press chicken nuggets button instead of cheesy bites .. We realized when order came and rush to counter and asked manager that its our mistake can u pls check this as we did not even open the box. she was so rude and first she did not bother to talk to us then reluctantly she said i cant do anything just bin that if you cant eat nuggets. I can not give you anything in replacement wdt any eye contact even and busy in her work not ready to listen us. We even did not ask for it but she in her mind decided not to give us any option or even not felt sorry or said sorry in gratitude that we spent money on it and she is recommemding us to bin that. We said its ok you can give this to someone if someone wants to eat or bin that whatever you want cx we cant eat as we are vegeterian… pathetic experience and just b/c of her attitude we wont go to mcdonalds anymore neither to that branch. I also worked in a retail chain as a Manager and I know how to handle customers if they discuss any issues with us. Read moreI went to this McDonald's today just after 11:00 with my little girl and a friend with her 2 children joined us 10 minutes later. The service was horrendous. First of all 3 out of the 4 machines that you use to place your order didn't work, so I made my way to the counter. The girl taking the order at the counter had no idea what she was doing. It took her at least 6 minutes and calling someone for help 4 times before she finished taking my order. After I paid and checked the recipient I was charged double, so a manager was called to refund the mistake. It then took 25 minutes for the food to come only to receive the double order that they've just refunded. So back to the till I went and when I handed the food back and told the girl she just gave me something that I got a refund for she looked dumbfounded. In the meantime my friend and her 2 children were told that they're not taking in any more customers when they tried to meet up with us inside. After her explaining that she's got someone waiting inside she was finally allowed inside. She had to then wait 25 minutes for her food order as well.
