Best Indian in town. Delicious food cooked to specification fresh from finest ingredients. Great restaurant atmosphere to sit-in and always well looked after by attentive staff. Well worth a visit.

I had previously posted a 1 star comment due to some issues with my order. I am happy to now change that as my meal was replaced for free the next time I ordered (I ordered 2 meals this time and got 50% off so they replaced the order that had problems the week before). The food was great and my compliments to the chef (even if I did order a garlic Nan and was given a plain one). The reason my review is not 5/5 is because the manager of this restaurant has an attitude problem, he raised his voice to me on the phone which is not acceptable in my opinion, this was when I explained I was not happy with his offer of a few free popadoms and told him what I would be happy with (basically the meal I paid for a week before replaced - due to problems with that order and previous orders) when I mentioned I have worked in customer service for many years and this is not how to handle this situation I got a response of… oh so you know better than me… In a cheeky way! On top of that, when I arrived at the restaurant he had the cheek to ask me what my experience was in customer service… I found this rude and inappropriate considering I had just drove from larne to give the restaurant the chance to resolve this issue. I did not get his name, I did ask for it but that was not forthcoming either time I requested it. Just to clarify I have been in customer service for over 10 years, 8 of which in management roles, having teams of 15-20 people work for me dealing with complaints about broadband and software issues, maybe I should have brought him my CV? I appreciate the problem was resolved, but this is because I stood my ground - not because it was handled the way it should have been and this managers attitude needs some work. It’s a shame really as I always enjoyed the curries outside of items being missing or the Nan being burnt on occasions, but after that experience and taking a few days to think about how I should share this experience… I doubt we will be going back anytime soon! The girls who work in the place are fantastic, never had a bad thing to say about them and the chefs do a great job with the curries, but being spoke to in an angry way on the phone, then being questioned about my customer service experience was...

We had a bizarre experience here - we'd looked at their website before going for a sit-in meal, which listed Dopiaza as an available meal. It wasn't on the menu in the restaurant and when my wife asked if she could have it, she was told "No, it's only available as takeaway meal, not a sit-in meal" (despite there only being one kitchen). The waiter tried to explain the reason, but gave up and said "I don't really understand why".

The rest of the service wasn't much better - we waited ages for the starters but they brought the main courses instead, and seemed really confused when we told them we hadn't had the starters - they came back twice to ask what we'd ordered. Both starters and mains then arrived at the same time, only for them to take the mains back. When they served the mains later, they brought a second round of starters for some unknown reason.

When we finally got the food, it was just okay but not as nice as The Khayber (Glengormley) or Little India (Carrick), and the whole fiasco with the service really let the restaurant down.

Edited to add in response to the owner - this was on Saturday 28th October, there were 3 of us dining, and our order was taken by a young male waiter who had his face painted...

Free poppadoms with order was nice, as was the food (ish).

Only reason for the 2 stars is as my curry was rather bland and had very little substance to it (very watery)

I Ordered a chicken tikka rogan josh with rice and a garlic nan bread. The curry had no slices of tomato or onion in it really, just a watery but tastey sauce with chicken. If the curry had tomato slices and onions in the sauce it would have been amazing and far more substantial. This is my first order here, not too sure if I would go back to be honest as the place I normally go is out of town but far more filling with a thick sauce with onions and nice slices of tomato in it.

Such a shame as I thought I might have found a new spot closer to home rather than having to drive out to Glengormley every time I...
