Nosh Cafe — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Up in Magherafelt for a a bit of charity shopping. Stopped and had lunch here. 2 separate rooms so plenty of seating. We had vegetable soup with wheaten/ roll, ham salad sandwiches, an American and a milk. The service was brilliant and everything came out very quickly. The food was delicious and everything was very fresh. The staff who were all young girls were so friendly and so good at their jobs. The lot came to £20 which was money well spent. We stopped in to Diesel to pass the time while waiting to go bowling. All we ordered was coffee, but it was delicious! We also played a few games of pool which was conveniently located further back into the building away from the crowd at the front. We noticed that the building is laid out in a way that allows louder groups to congregate near the front and studying and work groups to be in the far back (it is a long narrow shape). Food tastes good but portion sizes certainly felt measured to match 'Eat Out to Help Out'. Steak baguette in peppered sauce - tasty but 5/6 Nips of meat Chicken fillet - (tasty but post-it sized) Kids meals - much better value (burger was lovely, good chips) Similar order/prices in any Cookstown Cafe would be much better value.
