Passage to India — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

This was the 1st time we used this restaurant it was recommended to us. We waited 3 hrs having to keep phoning to ask where our order was!’ We eventually. got our order and it was freezing!! Even after I took the freezing cold food back which took me 5 mins by car!! the owner refused to come out and address the customer and was down right ignorant. This was our 1st experience with this restaurant the 1time we tried them. We are absolutely discussed by their service and customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, absolutely down right ignorant. The girls on the phone also told me that they have a list of complaints all saying the same. Very poor ignorant customer service.

Telephoned through a collection. Walked through the door to really old fashioned decor. Like from the 90s. But hey, hoped the food would be good. Ordered Chicken korma, lamb bhuna, 2x Pilau rice and a nan bread. £25. Ten minute drive home. Granted we ate the poppadom first, but the food itself was luke warm. Chicken korma had about ten pieces of bite sized chicken. Could have been more. But the lamb bhuna had five pieces of meat, about the size of malteasers. Pathetic! Phoned to tell the manager. He said to call back and get another bhuna, but it should have been right in the first place. Had to get my child supper, so I asked can they deliver something to me… but got told the driver is away and won’t be back for a long time. Definitely...

Partner called to collect the time they said, drove as not to waste any time, 3 minutes drive. Ordered Butter Chicken, pilau rice, onion bhajies, chicken tikka masala nan with salad.

He got home, no salad, rice was literally luke warm. Onion Bhajies half the size they used to be and cold too. Chicken tikka masala nan cold too.

I am a chef and know how kitchens work, the wee girl on the desk was trying to tell me that every order that goes out it cooked to order. Anyone who has worked in this kind of establishment will know that’s not the case with rice. The one thing that you can get food poisoning from!

Poor attitude, poor food. Such a pity as we have been using them for the last 4 years.
