never been to a more unprofessional place went for my friends 18th private birthday party that she booked and i accidentally sat on a small table that i thought was a chair and one of the staff came up and was so cheeky when telling me to move but i just ignored the rudeness and moved to a seat immediately with no bother me and my friend were then laughing at how i thought it was a chair and i turned and smiled at that member of staff and he then proceeded to walk over to me get in my face and shout at me to get out i was takin aback i explained to him that i only smiled at him and he got even more aggressive and told me to get out of the bar i then asked to speak to his manager as i found the reason for me getting thrown out absurd and the aggression was very strange behaviour he then proceeded to lie to me that he was the manager and took me to the owner as i was trying to explain to the owner that member of staff raised his voice and spoke over me whereas the whole time i was very calm the owner was of no use whatsoever obviously customer service is not a care at this pub as he said absolutely nothing and simply shrugged at me and said to get out i then did then my friend asked me to come say goodbye to her and the owner finally said something ‘we are here to work not be laughed at’ i would not recommend this pub whatsoever very aggressive and sensitive staff you are not allowed to smile at the staff the owner can’t speak...

An excellent little bar great outdoor patio looks and feels like an old old bar regular live rock bands high quality and even some free snacks towards end of the evening anything from sausage and chips to a nice veggie curry this is a bar worth supporting so forget your shoes from the off licence so forget your cheap booze from the off licence and get down and support at Great Barr and build community one pint at a time good prices on...
