Decided no better place to spend my Birthday meal than Mayur, thoroughly enjoyed every part of my meal the food is always a high standard and full of flavour. Also without a doubt the best service you are going to get in the town of Carrickfergus the staff are exceptional and are a credit to themselves. The food combined with the service makes The Mayur is more than worth a visit either if you are passing through Carrickfergus or are a local. Finishing touch there is a stunning view of the Carrick Castle from the window.

The staff were very friendly and the owner took time to explain what was on the menu, the ingredients they use and how the food from Nepal differs to Indian and Pakistani food. My wife and I are vegetarian and the food was excellent. It was also very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this establishment and will return when we are next in Carrickfergus.

I've been meaning to try this Indian restaurant in the heart of Carrickfergus for a while now. A few people had recommended it so I was confident that it would be good and it was! All of our meals were really tasty and service was really fast. The view of the castle is quite special too! If you are in the Carrickfergus area definitely give it a go.

Family run top tier Restaurant. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Offering some of best Indian food in Northern Ireland it never has disappointed and I look forward to each and every visit. Caters really well for vegans too, just make sure and ask for no Paneer in your dish. They have Indian beer on tap too, if that's your thing! ☺️

Second time I've had dinner here once in November 21 and today 17/01/22 Once again the service was excellent, the food was piping hot well presented and on time as I only had a short time until it was served.. The staff are polite and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and fresh and well presented.
