If I could give tott 0 stars for tonight's service I would. Totally disgusted with the service we received tonight. After visiting the smoke House for 3 weeks running, we were asked tonight to pay for all our food and drinks in advance, no running tab, sitting with my 3 year old daughter and her 80 year old grandfather, we were definitely not a flight risk. Waitress was rude as she was inexperienced and the duty manager no better. Extremely disappointed, especially in the current climate, I thought people had more business sense, so obviously mistaken! Good luck, but doubt my father in law will be visiting you again anytime soon. As you can see, when we were not treated unfavourably, the food was spot on!

We were seated pretty quickly, handed menus and asked what we would like to drink. The waitress (didn't get her name) was very knowledgeable about the food she recommended. Hubby had the mushroom soup and I had the filo wrapped feta... both were very good. Then for our main meal I had chicken carbonara (with no mushrooms) and hubby had tomahawk steak with peppercorn sauce. We both agreed these were the best we had tasted and enjoyed in a long time. Thank you for a very pleasant dining experience.

The staff are really friendly and nice. Inside the restaurant seated area is lovely and well decorated. The food tasted nice. After the restaurant we moved to the beer garden and the atmosphere was amazing. You can order your drinks through the website by scanning the QR code. Drinks where not to expensive. The only issues I had with Top of The Town is that it took a while for are food to come. I also don't think my steak was worth £20. Overall I would recommend, especially the beer garden

This email is regarding my dinner service yesterday, I booked a table for 5 for Valentines and I must say the service I received was the worst ever, if I had to rate the staff service would be definitely 1/10 and we weren’t the only ones complaining about this, table to either side of us where complaining as well, please continue to read this email and I’ll explain in detail what happened.

We arrived at 6.45 for our booking at 7 and the table wasn’t ready, that was fine for us so we had a drink in the bar, we were shown to our table around 7.10, sat down took our order everything was fine, 5 minutes after our drinks arrive, jar of water and 2 cokes what we ordered, few minutes another staff member brings down 2 more cokes and I say “we already got our drinks” the reply was “well now you can have 2 more” I said I didn’t want it cause by the time our first drink was finished the ice would’ve melted, so I say to take it back, staff then turned his back on me and walked away, I was mortified and embarrassed cause my parents are sitting at the table, so I had to calm them down.

The starters arrived pretty quick and were unreal, congratulations to the chefs, but the issue was next waited 45 minutes for our mains, the roast was unreal the side veg was definitely not cooked and it was very crunchy and cold, felt like was poured into a bowl from a frozen bad and quickly heated up. 35 mins after we’ve finished our food, that’s when the waiters came and took our plates out, the restaurant was emptied at this time, and we had to be the ones to keep on getting their attention to grab our plates. As soon as they came to the table we instantly asked for the desert menu cause we had order the 3 course, another 25 mins waiting time, taking in mind while the staff were dancing and singing in the restaurant we were the only ones left, it got to one stage were I had to get up and say” can I cancel my desert order and pay” and the answer was” let me check with the kitchen” within seconds the deserts came out, so I just wanna say that the staff were more occupied with dancing and singing instead of looking after the customers, you can check cctv on the restaurant if you don’t believe what I’m saying, having spend £130 in this restaurant yesterday I truly believe based on the entire experience I would only rated it as £70, I usually leave tips for the staff and all, without surprise I didn’t cause this service was shocking, I’m just trying to tell the management about this issue and to give the staff a wake-up call, it’s without no regret that I say my last ever experience at top of the town, which is unfortunately has I’m come regularly to the...

I visited the place for a very late lunch on a weekday in December '21 with my family. This was my first visit post COVID and after the renovations. I was impressed with what they had done to the place. The seating arrangements were comfortable. The menu was largely the same as or had been previously. There was a 3 course Christmas menu on offer. But our party decided to choose from the all day menu. Between our party, we had the nachos to share for starters. Of there are at least two of you heading here, this is a no brainer. Get the nachos ( with the brisket).

For mains we had a selection of burgers, pasta and the katsu curry. We were disappointed by the Katsu curry. I must highlight that it was a personal thing and not anything to do with the dish itself. It felt like having goujons in Katsu curry sauce ( I am not a fan of goujons) .

I must highlight that the service from the staff was excellent. Will recommend as a destination when you have friends over who would like to go to your 'local'.

I didn't give give 5 stars because- 1. Felt the purple lights were too 'blingy' and didn't sit will with a lunch/dinner seeing COVID related measures were not optimal. The distance between sets of tables was not ideal. To close...

If you’re wanting a plate full of moy ploy sauce ,then order the honey chilli chicken …it is hands down the worst meal I’ve ever been served. Staff are quick at getting your food order and drinks at the start , but you have to go to the bar in the restaurant to get their attention after that . Also didn’t like that the staff said to my mum about the table being booked till half 4 and they needed it back soon …..,especially since the restaurant had very little people in it and the staff knew it was her birthday and also the food was very slow to come out and staff extremely slow to clear the table ,so The cake could be brought out and this was the tip Of the iceberg if I’m being honest . If Im ever hungry or stuck for somewhere to eat in Antrim again, I’ll take myself and daughter to McDonalds and save myself the disappointment . Have ate here plenty of times , but can honestly say I’ll...
