Popped into the Port for a wee coffee and as usual, was not disappointed. The staff are so friendly and seem to have a great cleaning system amid the pandemic. Staff asked me to wait in line and order before I took a seat to make sure the table was clean (they were even cleaning the chairs!). Makes a lot of sense really but I was disappointed to find other customers not listening to the staff and making their way to the dirty tables, not very nice of them as it makes it hard for the staff to safely social distance. The staff wear PPE and were constantly washing their hands, just what I want to see during the current climate. Many things have changed recently with all this but the great service and better food is still the same!...
Read moreWhilst on a visit to portstwart and calling in for lunch! Place was full and I decided to take a seat while my husband bought our lunch. ( I have a disability which does not allow me to stand too long )... I was sharply told by a staff member that I cannot sit till my purchase is made. That I agree with and got up without bringing attention to myself... For another member of the public to take the sitting area and we had no where to sit to eat what we purchased ... sorry Iwe...
Read moreNice little spot on the corner that I didn't realise existed until recently. Busy location at the weekend with limited seating so be prepared to wait for a table if you have a group bigger than 2.
Food was delicious. I had the pesto and chicken sub roll which I would definitely recommend. Good serving size too. Coffee was also good and the servers were fast and friendly.
No dedicated parking but there should be plenty of space in the car park on the corner or in the...
