Fat Fox Pizza Den — Restaurant in Norwich

I walked in there cause I was looking for a different place that's listed as the same address, burger mafia. I ask the guy behind the counter, he looks at my phone and just says, "yeah, I can do that, you want a smash burger?" I pause. Stunned. I say, uh yeah that sounds good, he asks if I want anything else, the only other thing I wanted from this burger mafia place was some good fries, so I say cajun fries, he says no problem, £9. I hear him asking the cooks in the back, "you know how to make a smash burger?" I think, well at least it'll be interesting. Genuinely one of the best burgers I've ever had, the menu listed pizzas, chicken wings, desserts, no burgers. Not just that, AFTER I paid, man asks if I want sauces, cheese, a drink. I feel like a wandering wayfarer taken in from the cold by a kind and caring family and I have never felt so...

We had ordered here before and had a really great experience. Last night, I decided to order through the restaurant directly at 1830. The money came straight out of my account and I received a confirmation email and a timer with about 35 minutes on it.

The timer stopped after being refreshed a few times. I assumed they would be busy on a Sunday night so gave it until 8pm. I called through just to confirm our food was on the way or being prepared but got no answer.

The food never came which was very disappointing. Still working on a refund. By the looks of reviews on here it looks like I am not the only one who has had this issue.

Please just tighten it up guys, you’ve got good potential but frankly this is just poor.

I am genuinely gutted to have to write this. Fat Fox Pizza Den- your food is tremendous and your social media promotion is fantastic. It is with massive regret that I pass this on- please know I hate posting negative reviews, especially for an independent. Please check your details- The site says you open at 4.30 but Facebook says 5. Please make sure someone is there to pick up the phone- I called multiple times and nobody answered. I appreciate you came out to deliver after this but it should not take 10 phone calls, a Facebook chat and me having to talk to the people that run your app before you resolve it. The matter has now been sent to Paypal regarding getting money back. I am really sorry it has come to this. As I say I'm genuinely gutted....
