AVOID AT ALL COSTS…go to HIGH ALTITUDE
Absolutely horrendous experience. Arrived today to take our 3 children on the park, arrived at the reception desk and was greeted by a extremely rude and awkward member of staff called Inesa. We purchased a family ticket as we were told all children under 5 are not aloud on without an adult. Once we paid we went and sat at one of the tables next to the trampolines, the children all went into the area to watch the safety video whilst I was sat just outside the barrier putting my socks on. Inesa clearly had an issue when she went up to one of the other member of staff doing the explanation and victimised myself and my youngest child pointing and talking about us infront of everyone, other customers had noticed this personal attack towards us and even our older children overheard the conversation. Once I had gotten my socks on I went into the barriered area for the repeat of the safety video which plays on repeat the whole time you are there. Everyone was then let onto the trampolines except me and my little boy because ‘I hadn’t watched the saftey video’ i explained I had watched the whole video and told them they could ask me any questions they needed to confirm that I had however they said I wasn’t allowed on because I was behind the barrier instead of in front when it was playing. Inesa had previously come over to us at the drinks machine and was extremely rude and we felt extremely victimised and bullied the whole time we were there by everyone who works there but especially Inesa who made it her job to go around all members of staff to gossip and whisper about us whilst we were there making us all extremely uncomfortable. I asked to speak to the manager who couldn’t explain why other peoples children who were under 5 were allowed on alone however my little boy wasn’t. Our children are 2 4 10 and they let the eldest children on unaccompanied but not the youngest and wouldn’t let me on to accompany him. We left immediately after and will never be returning, the staff were extremely rude unfriendly. Other customers came over to check we were okay because of the level of targeting and bullying they witnessed from Inesa. Seems in the other reviews that this is a common issue at gravity.
On the plus note we drove straight to High Altitude and could not recommend their staff and the overall experience enough. Staff were more than happy to help at any point, they were extremely friendly and kind with our children plus it’s a lot cheaper and children are allowed on alone or with an...
Read moreSo first of all, it was fun. Like the experience was super enjoyable and the trampolines were all fun to jump on, which is what you want when you go to a trampoline park. But there were a lot of things that glared at me that I had issue with sadly, hence the two stars. First of all the general vibe coming in is super fun, the centre is nicely designed. But a second glance showed me that the table area was very messy and very unclean. Lots of bottles and wrappers on the floors and tables, lots of stains. Seems like maybe they could have used an extra staff member on that Saturday night. The man running reception was super nice and super helpful, so we went to put our stuff in a locker. Now, the lockers. The lockers are super run-down. They absolutely seem like they need new lockers. They were not secure and half of them seemed broken or loose, if we pulled on our locker once it was locked, it would just pop open. The toilets next to the lockers smelled really bad too. So we opted to keep our phones and wallets in our pockets despite it being against the general rules. Onto said rules: don't bother worrying about breaking them because the staff do not seem to care what you do. Various things they don't want you to do include running, laying on the trampolines, using them wrong, having your phones out, etc, but I saw people doing all of this. So if you're going here and really worried about your kids being safe I can't say I'd recommend it, there were kids and adults tearing across the trampolines. A boy nearly smacked me in the face on the slides as he was tearing up and down them. There was seemingly only one man on duty watching for this kind of thing, during our hour session he blew his whistle once to ask someone not to run. The staff situation was highly confusing, there was a pair of kids there, can't have been more than 12 or 13 wearing what seemed to be staff shirts and whistles. It was confusing seeing them stand around and look out over the area and blow whistles sometimes. So yeah that's my thoughts on my experience. Really seems like they could do with both more funding and...
Read moreFantastic place to take the kids for fun exercise!! They LOVE this place! It's great for adults too. It was a nightclub back in my younger days, and the space they have is colossal. There are a few flights of stairs to climb before you get to the trampolines and check in, but they do have a lift for those less able or those with pushchairs etc It's HUGE, with lots of different trampoline areas. They have two 'courts' to play trampoline-dodgeball, they have a gladiator-style area (with foam body bashing things... no idea what they're called!). There are podiums to sit and rest, tons of trampolines, some on the walls, ones where you can bounce off of, into a pit filled with foam cubes. They run sessions for people who need a quieter area with less flashing lights, toddler sessions, fitness sessions etc. There is a wall climbing activity at an additional cost and other things too. There is a good amount of seating for parents/carers, baby changing facilities, toilets, a 'bar' area, serving food and drinks. There are a large number of lockers to use, should you need to. They sell unlimited drinks/slushies and have a wall with several self-serve slushie machines to refill when you want. You can also get these refilled at the bar area with any fizzy drink of your choice! They are BIG on safety - there is a waiver to sign, electronically, on your first time which lasts for a year. Every person MUST watch the safety video and do the warm up exercises EVERY time you visit. They have lots of fully trained staff keeping an eye out for everyone's safety too. It is rather expensive, however, given that a session lasts for only 1 hour - that is why I didn't give Gravity 5 stars. And the fact that the toilets don't smell too fresh either! The Summer Pass is good value though, especially during the Summer Holidays!!! You save money already on the second visit! I would recommend this place,...
