I visited this store to park my car in the car park and noticed a sign indicating that ANPR cameras are in use, and customers are allowed only 15 minutes before risking a £100 fine. I was shocked at how short this timeframe is, but even more shocked when I tried to comply with the sign that states:
"CUSTOMERS WISHING TO STAY LONGER MUST OBTAIN A 1 HOUR PARKING PERMIT BY REGISTERING ON THE TOUCH SCREENS INSIDE THE PREMISES AND ENTERING THEIR FULL CORRECT VEHICLE REGISTRATION."
When I approached a Domino’s employee to follow this procedure, she told me, "Head Office told me not to hand out parking permits." Unbelievable!
This policy discourages eating in and ordering in-store, as a default timeframe of 15 minutes is completely unreasonable. Even more concerning, the same employee who was answering calls and serving customers at the front desk on the evening of 24th September 2024 seemed disinterested in offering good customer service. I seriously doubt Head Office would implement such a policy, and it felt more like her priority was to get rid of customers quickly rather than offer any real help. She put my number plate on a piece of paper and I asked what was the purpose of that and she couldn’t tell me. I think it was a ploy to get rid of me. She also told me I shouldn’t worry about a £100 fine and this made me really confused as put simply, THIS STORE HAS NO SYSTEM FOR A PERMIT.
This experience was disappointing and doesn’t reflect well on the customer service standards I expect from Domino’s.
I hope I don’t get a £100 fine as I will be taking it through the courts. I am shocked at how poorly managed this...
Read moreThis is by FAR the worst Domino's in Nottingham and i have eaten at most of them, they "ABSOLUTELY DO NOT COOK THE PIZZA'S PROPERLY" the crust of the pizza is so pale and tasteless and doughie and bits of un-melted cheese and just tastes like the base is not cooked properly(no breadcrumbs on the CRUST) (like ALL OTHER Domino's do) and the worst LITTLE amount of topping i have ever had on a domino's pizza, genuinely PEOPLE,there is a ASDA up the road and i promise you can get LARGE(with LOTS of topping) made in front of you and you will get 6 yes 6 Large pizza's for the price Domino's charge for 1,so please do the math's,and i genuinely do not know WHY domino's do not watch shops like THIS ONE because they are RUINING the domino's BRAND by giving sub-standard pizza's to people and they cannot even be bothered to cook the pizza's for the correct amount of time,,AVOID this shop because they are a rip-off and make an...
Read moreExtremely Disappointed – Be Warned About the Parking Trap! I recently visited Domino’s at 409 Nuthall Road and ended up with a £100 parking fine simply because my pizza was delayed. The car park has a strict 15-minute limit that isn’t clearly communicated, and worse still, the staff didn’t bother to warn me about it—even though they saw I was waiting for my order inside.
It feels like they’re setting people up to fail. If you’re planning to collect your food or sit inside to eat, you’ll likely be hit with a fine for simply being a customer. It’s outrageous that loyal patrons are being penalized like this.
Unless Domino’s sorts this out and puts up clearer signs or gives proper notice at the point of sale, I won’t be coming back—and I’d suggest others think twice before they do.
This is no way to treat...
