I went here with a group of 8 people. The first courses were overly price, (£9) but it was the second that was the nain problem. They had limited amount of each dish on the menu. I opted for the lasagne for £16.50. It came as a slice of lasagne (like a piece of cake) with no salad, veg or garlic bread. It had been burnt on the top. We had to send it back because it was fridge cold in the middle. The staff told us it had been made in the morning and then kept in the chiller. They would microwave it, but only had one microwave, so it took a long time before we got it back. We tried again but there was no juice/sauce . It was like eating slabs of cooked pasta on its own as there was very little between the layers. The little meat I found didnt taste of anything much and wasn't minced beef like I expected. When we complained they knocked £20 of the bill for everyone, so a few pounds each. They kept telling us everything was authentic Italian and when a member of my group wanted a certain drink the waitress said she needed to have an Italian drink and bullied her into having a drink she didn't want or liked. It cost her over £9 when the bill came. There wasn't any sugar free/diet soft drinks because apparently they are not italian either. Lastly, they only had tiramisu or ice cream for pudding. They had run out of tiramisu, so as I was starving I had the ice cream. It was delicious but I got the tiniest scope possible. Therefore, my trip cost me £27.50 and all I had that I could eat/drink was an ice cream, coffee and sparkling water. It was the worst meal I have ever had and, if I had been on my own, I would have refused to pay for...

The food is fantastic. The saltimbocca was so tasty and the tortellini was very fresh and served with a buttery sauce - brilliant. We had a child's portion of the tortellini, which was half price but very generous in size. Great value.
I had a tiramissu and the others had gelato, it was all gorgeous.
Would highly recommend it - a great addition to the area.
One suggestion is that they sort out the music. Theyve got a sonos in the corner of the room, but it appears to have connection issues. It didnt detract from the excellent food, though, and we very much enjoyed our visit. Will definitely be back...
Read moreWhat a lovely little bistro (: Absolutely delicious focaccia lunch special - loved the nice touch of Italian crisps, but most importantly, the focaccia was proper melt-in-the-mouth stuff... And VERY reasonable prices (under £10 for meal deal). Top quality coffee too! I nearly gave 4 for atmosphere - great decor with big mural of Puglia it feels like you could almost be there... but it was quiet (Thursday early lunchtime)... But then actually this was a good thing for me as I was able to hear my companion!! Plus surely it will get busier as people discover this...
