Absolutely awful. 5 adults attended for a meal the night before my graduation. They had a reduced menu due to covid and most of what was left on the menu was unavailable. Chose this pub as they had options for vegans but after ordering the vegan pie I was told this was unavailable so chose the vegan katsu curry instead. A server then said they were out of that type of rice and would we be okay with a different type. I asked for chips instead and my sister had ordered the same and said the other type of rice was fine. A few minutes later he came back and they don't actually have the katsu sauce so that's also off the menu. Ended up with the chickpea and sweet potato curry being the only vegan option available which i accepted as I didn't have much choice and thought i won't like the curry but atleast i can have the naan and onion bhajis. Nope, it comes out with only poppadom and chips. I asked about the rest and was informed this was an upgraded version of the same meal that I had ordered! I had never ordered this dish in the first place it was offered to me as a replacement by your staff member. Eventually I got MOST of the meal (still missing chutney) but it was so bland and the Bhajis were raw.

My sister(originally ordered vegan Katsu curry), her partner and my mother all had fish dishes and the chips portions were tiny, they felt like children's portions compared to the hunters chicken my dad had.

We also overheard a staff member tell a table that they stopped serving food at 9pm despite the website clearly stating 10pm which meant by the time our food eventually came out and we ate the kitchen was closed and we couldn't have dessert although i expect they wouldn't have had any in stock.

Other than a few measly apologies, we were offered a drink on the house AFTER everyone had finished their food and drink and we were about to leave.

In the future if you want to make customers feel wanted at-least offer them the complimentary drink BEFORE they want to leave and make sure your staff actually know what is in stock. Won't be returning and has genuinely...

not pleased with my experience as someone visiting nottingham today. duty manager on shift this afternoon, wearing a white floral blouse and hair up, i came in and asked her where the cutlery was and she passed me my own food to take to my table myself. i’ve worked at a restaurant pub for 3 years and would never dream of getting the customers to take their own food- she didn’t even ask she just put the food in my hand. staff also stood around at bar chatting to locals ignoring other customers, and i asked one worker if cocktails were on as they weren’t on the app and was told yes, went back to my table to ask what people wanted to be then told when i came back up to the bar that there was no cocktails after i watched a cocktail being made. drinks menus also had no prices on soft drinks and hot drinks, and no sours on the menu at all. AND kitchen closed at 4:30pm on a wednesday. then i accidentally ordered the wrong mixer on the greene king app to a mixer i do not like, i politely asked the manager if i could swap as she had only poured 1/4 of the drink so far and she declined in an extremely rude manor. i also just witnessed a worker outside collecting glasses and plates whilst vaping at the same time- extremely unprofessional. very...

We hired the function room for a private party. We first came across The Grosvenor on TIKTOK and thought we would check it out. It was the 2nd venue we visited that day and after we met the manager Ellyn we were sold. The room was nice but what really sealed the deal was Ellyn. She was so enthusiastic about our party, open and honest that we did not need to see any more. She went over and above to make the room look extra special for us. "Mama B" did an amazing job with the buffet - there was plenty of food and it tasted amazing. Olivia and Jordan were on the bar and did an amazing job - ensuring everyone was well hydrated throughout the night and they were both super helpful packing up leftover food for us and helping us take it down to our car at the end of the night. The team truly made this the best part of our day and a day to remember! We couldn't thank them enough and will be recommending them to all our friends / anyone who needs a...

I visited this pub on the 12th July 2025 with my partner as we didn’t fancy eating at the hotel we were staying at and this pub was across the road 2 mins walk, ideal location to attract the clients staying at the hotel across the road. From the time we walked in to the time we left, could not fault it. Excellent customer service, food was good and the staff were great very friendly and polite. As the weather was hot we sat outside under a covered shelter, there was a large tv outside very nice touch. We met some locals that had popped in for a drink, lovely people. I would definitely visit here again.

Nice local pub, good selection of beers and friendly staff. Good selection of food, including Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan menus. Very similar in some respects to a wetherspoons but cannot compete on price, despite being ownd by Greene King. Food and a drink that would cost £20 in spoons costs £30 here for example. Lots of weekly activities to join in with too, for example I went in on quiz night. All in all a nice place to spend a couple of hours.

Not a bad pub, surprised as not been in for years. Clean and cheerful. Lots of people watching football. Food reasonable. I had double cheeseburger and bacon, chips and a teaspoon of coleslaw. A bit on the dry side but not too bad. Beer was average price. Mens and ladies toilets upstairs. Disabled and baby changing downstairs. Outside good space for when it's warm and has a car park.
