The service is horrific. If you order in person be prepared to wait 30 minutes before you are served because those who order on-line take greater priority then a face-to-face customer, and no staff even acknowledged my existence during this time, but were curt and snappy. The only saving grace is the food which is decent, I will give it that much, and the prices are reasonable. These are literally the only two saving graces, other wise I would deem this establishment a “no star”. #slacks

This place is good for students , has a lot of student deals, the masala fish and seekh are worth a try, but if you want your food be prepared to wait for a long time here , as the food is prepared fresh , even if the restaurant has no crowd you'll have to wait. It's located just opposite Nottingham 2, easily accessed from over there.

Ordered lamb with rice, only got 95 of sauce with a few bones in it to take away. Why sell this for 7.95 if its plain rice and sauce...

Okay! words can not explain this place. Like the previous comments are a understatement in comparison to what i have experienced.

Lets start with the overall feel inside the Cafe. No one smiles, your constantly being glared at and when approached, the staff mumble although this is not a great issue. The place smells of sweat and something going off and is never cleaned. With the food it only gets worst!I was ordering for a large group of us and when they tasted it, man was i in for embarrassment. I brought some Southern fried chicken, shawarma in naan, chicken burger, kebab in naan and 3 pizzas and not one item was of a satisfactory standard. The SFC was dry and texture felt a day old, but what was worst was the chicken had a cold centre but it wasn't because it was uncooked. The burger was okay but its structure was terrible, with bun pieces flaking away, lettuce that had shrivelled and a burger drenched in oil. The shawarma was by far the most moist food i had ever consumed and that was not because of the chicken but because it was drenched in sauce. I don't know if this was to get rid of taste or to make it more flavoursome but it did not work, it only made the naan more soggy. The kebab was burnt underneath and was pretty bland, no spices whatsoever. The highlight of the night was the pizza (HAHAHAHA). The pizza was smaller in size than what was ordered and was caked in oil so deep i could drown in it. But hey i did not go to a michelin star restaurant, i went to a takeaway that is only making money based upon there fantastic location.

Overall i'd like to say i will comeback to see if they have improved but i might need the ambulance...

I ordered some food from the restaurant website(and not some other agencies like Justeat!). The amount of what I was going to order was approx 7 pounds. I did not check the minimum order for delivery and proceeded with the online payment(at the back of my mind I was confident that if it doesn't meet the minimum, it will notify me). The payment went smoothly, except at the end it showed that 12 pounds are deducted! Somewhere down the corner of the payment page, it showed that the minimum order for delivery is 12 pounds!

I mean, this is ridiculously unfair. Nowhere ever I have seen this kind of an online ordering system where they don't notify the customer if the minimum amount is not met.

Secondly, I rang the restaurant to make sure they know about it and if possible amend it. To that, I got a blatant response "We just supply orders, we cannot do anything".

I mean this is excellent oratory to be learnt in the UK, right? People do not have any civic sense and neither the minimum set of skills to handle customers. Showcases their origin.

These holyshits should better learn how to behave, and should digest that not everyone belong to...

I ordered a chicken curry with rice and some samosas and onion bhajis. The curry was really good, spice on point. The other food was ok, could be a bit better. The prices are really good, you'd expect small portions for the low prices they charge but in fact, the portions were as large as any other usual Indian takeaway. The biggest problem with this establishment was the waiting times. I went to the takeaway, ordered and collected it, it took about 20 minutes which may seem reasonable, however the curry was already ready when I got there and is not made to order. All they had to do is heat up the curry and yet it still took far longer than it should. I would have probably given 5 stars if service was a...
