Very disappointed, very unorganised establishment. We ordered 2 starters one came 10minutes after the other presume the waitress only put one through as when mentioned the other waiter darted off and didn't return for 10 min. The mains weren't much better 3 kids meals and 2 adults one of the children's meals came 10 minutes after the other 4 meals, I presumed the waitress had taken the order wrong even though I confirmed with her 5 meals in total. I had already sourced a spare plate and given the child some food off everyone else's... then meal 5 turned up... The food I had a T-bone steak, the idea of a sizzler board is nice, but they dump the steak ontop of the mash and veg making it impossible to cut up without it going all over table. The steak was full of fat and gristle unlike any T-Bone steak I have had before. Partner had chicken. Chicken was nice option of sauce similar to nandos lemon/herb, mild, medium, and so on this meal was quiet nice. Children had burgers, no veg option, I like to ensure my children eat at least one portion of veg on a meal, so the option of sweetcorn or peas would have been nice. The burger was dry, the bread was nice, the cheese was the plastic stuff you get from macdonalds, which I wouldn't expect from an expensive steakhouse. We were given a childrens menu which had a dot to dot on the back, so the children were entertained by this. we asked for another couple so they had one each, we asked for a pen the waitress told us the only pen they had was the one she was using. Luckily I had one in my bag. normally when we eat out and the place provide these they also have little packs of crayons. It's these little touches that add to the experience. Toilets were filthy, no toilet roll, no tissue to dry hands and hand dryer broken. I accidently knocked the soap dispenser when using the bottled one provided, and the front of it fell off, the shelf was hanging off. All in all I wouldn't go back here the price doesn't match the service I would expect this experience in a cheap burger joint but not a more up-market steakhouse. we used to regularly eat from here before it was '' done up'' and the food used to be fantastic to say its gone downhill is an understatement.

Okay we will start upon the entrance of this steakhouse and I have to be honest - I have been to a few steakhouses in my life but none ever meet my expectation. The entrance is tidy and has hand sanitiser available to the right, then you await the servers arrival for the allocation of your table. The décor is modern, slight geometric patterns which engage but do not overwhelm or cause a trigger due to my daughter being present and slightly autistic. While waiting for the food, all I can say is our party was to involved in watching the next customers meal arriving and viewing all the food - which is bad when you start wanting their dish. The atmosphere is busy but so family welcoming that it was heaven to be out so late with children and have no incidents that could cause upset, although their were groups of males etc - their was just a genuine appreciation for the amazing food which was being served. Me personally, I choose to not take my daughter out after a certain time of night due to the unpleasantness but was greatly surprised by the environment, also their were vast family parties at this steakhouse all friendly and welcoming. The only minor complaint I have - is I wish with steak they would serve the chips separately or provide a bigger plate plus smaller portions of the adults meals additionally mac & cheese - had very upset children. Where's the desserts??. Do it all so i can leave completely content in life and full enough that I need to go home and sleep. Other than that, fantastic food - excellent variety of staff and all professionally turned out with gloves as well.

Toros Steakhouse (CASH ONLY). I have been to Toros enough now to leave a honest review. Out of about 6 Trips in 2 years I have only had one bad experience with the food. They have improved every-time since then. After Reading reviews on google for the advice to management I think the store should add cash only to their name as that would avoid a lot of negative reviews. There is a sign on the door saying Cash Only but if you have travelled from out of town it can be annoying. I think there is a cash point at the local Tesco. Usually when I go to Toros it is really busy and you do end up waiting around 30 mins - 1 hour max. I decided to call-up around 20 mins before to ask if there was seating as we were deciding where to eat. The staff member on the phone was very polite and because of this I decided with going to Toros. This Last trip to Toros was probably the best one. A group of 3 we all had ordered the following; Toros Special(Well done) + Peri chips + Saucy pasta + Extra Veg + Cheese + Coke I only eat my steaks well done and Toros have got this down to the T. This was probably the best steak I had in a long time. 10/10 from me Chicken Steak (Medium spice) + Chips + Pasta + Fanta 9/10 Pasta Bland and Chips were getting burned because of the plate Chicken Steak (Hot Spice) + Peri Chips + Coleslaw+ Sprite (Received Pasta too) Did not order the pasta other than that the Food was 10/10 The waitering staff did an awesome job, service with a smile is guaranteed here. The price has increased recently (See receipt)

What a terrible experience. Phoned the branch to try and book a table but was told they do not take table bookings but there was not a wait for a table. When I got there the unfit for purpose waiting area was jam packed. We went in and no member of staff even came over to explain there would be a wait or any kind of greeting. We waited for 30 mins before a member of staff even approached the waiting area. The member of staff did not even know who was first in the queue. we were finally seated at a wobbly table which is not good when you are trying to cut steak. Waitress then came over and just threw the cutlery onto the table and took our order. We ordered some 2 starters and 2 main dishes, the waitress asked if we wanted the starters first and we replied yes please. We waited around 15 minutes and the starters came out. Just as we started eating the starters, the waitress bought out the mains. I said to the waitress we are not ready for the mains as we had only just started eating the starters. I asked who the manager was as the place was so unorganised and filthy. She replied the manager is not here at the moment. She then went away and 2 minutes later one her colleagues came to the table and asked what the issue was. We explained we wanted the mains after the starters so she offered to take the mains away and give us fresh ones when we was ready to which we agreed. She went in to say that we had been rude and raised our voice at her colleague who was in the back crying. I found this very unprofessional and I was not at any point rude to her or raised my voice. We finished our starters and the waiters then bought our mains out which were the same ones they had given us originally. We ate and paid the bill as we just wanted to leave at that point as the unorganised staff had ruined our night out. To add to this there was a water leak in the roof which the staff we passing under to bring the food and drinks out. The toilets were absolutely disgusting and didn’t look like they had been cleaned for weeks, there was water or urine all over the floor. Overall a very bad experience, rude staff, No hospitality and the place was filthy. Avoid at all costs, we will not...

My very first, and last, visit to Toro's. Despite going with children we weren't given or offered a children's menu. My son has multiple allergies which can be severe and life threatening. He wanted chips to go with his steak but on asking if the chips were cooked on their own in separate fryers or shared with fish etc I was first told they were cooked separate. Then the waiter said that they sometimes get cooked with onions but that's it (son allergic), then I asked if any fish or chicken share the fryer (my son severely allergic to both!) and he said oh yes, then gave me the allergy booklet. I asked if there was any nuts or fish ingredients in the bottle of chilli sauce on the table and I was told no, just chilli. On looking at the allergy booklet it clearly stated it has fish in it!!!! Omg. A tragic death waiting to happen. It was legalised a couple of years back that businesses have to use separate fryers for separate things (fish, meat, vegetarian etc). Not the case OT Toros. I asked if they could kindly do some chips in a separate pan of new oil for son. No! I asked if he could have some corn on cob or vegetables to go with the now steak and mash - No, they don't do them! We ordered drinks x 5 costing £10 but also asked for one glass of tap water too. Again, you guessed it, NO!!! Omg I thought that by law establishments had to give you tap water on request! To finish off was the hurry up and get out of here feeling by the waiters. They were clearing the tables whilst some of us were still eating. The bill was a lot. Way too much to go through all that again. Worst experience ever. Pretty poor and no knowledge on how important it is to know the ingredients for allergy sufferers. It was like a big inconvenience to them! I think if you check the response from Toros on the low rated reviews, they all the same, probably automated responses at that! They done care about the customers, just the money. Oh and yes, they only take cash, no cards. Is that a tax scam.....Hmmmmm. I'll now wait for my copied and pasted response that other unhappy...
