I came here today with my mum and my son, my son is nearly 2 and prefers finger foods, which is easier when out due to spoon feeding being harder and messier for myself and him, the children’s menu I looked at and it didn’t have something as simple as an omelette and chips, so when seeing that I ordered an adult meal and I knew obviously he wouldn’t eat all of that, however he did eat some of it and he enjoyed it which I don’t see a problem however one of the ladies (staff) seemed to have had an issue when bringing it over to our table, she asked us if me and my mum was sharing, when I told her ‘ no it’s for my son’ she then replied ‘well it’s not a children’s meal, it’s an adult meal’ which me and mum replied ‘that’s fine, we’re paying for it so that’s not an issue’ she then walked away. It’s the tone of voice which I thought was quite rude, it’s my son and if I’m paying, he can have whatever he wants. We’ve been here before and not had an issue at all, on obviously my son didn’t eat all of it, he’s not even 2 yet but omelette and afew chips to me is fine for him to eat, he really enjoyed it infact! Other than that one member of staff, the other staff were lovely, polite and helpful when I asked for a high chair, brought one to my table for my son and the food was lovely, i will be coming here again but if I do have this issue then I will be raising an report against her as if I’m paying for something then what does it matter who the food is for? So, I was just a bit peckish and decided to find I place I never went into. This place gives you your food before you pay which I wish was told to me, but it wasn't too much of a problem. The atmosphere is very lacking, entire place feels fairly bland and uninviting but at least it was clean for what I saw, though some seats definitely had some spill marks on them.

The service was definitely interesting - not in a good way. One of the waitresses was very nice, but the one that served me didn't say a word to me and just pushed my food and cutlery in front of me coldly. I ordered onion rings and they took about the expected amount of time.

As for the food, I only ordered onion rings and milk. Milk was standard semi-skimmed in a pint glass for £1.55 which was a little bit expensive but no crime. The onion rings were definitely fresh and nicely golden brown and even which is great, but completely let down because they had zero seasoning and I could barely taste the onion.

Never been ripped off so much in my life I had the medium breakfast all I received was 2 sausages and 2 bacon rashers in a plastic tray with a small pop of beans. The breakfast was cold and the quality was the poorest iv seen it did come with an egg wich was stale and had been in the microwave they think £5.50 is a fair price. in all I ordered 2 portions of cheesy chips wich again was stone cold and tasted old with that I ordered a jacket potato with chicken curry with was left on the side after one mouth full. In the end the order came to 20 pound wich was more than the price juat eat had gave me by £2 but didn't have the option to pay cash over all this cafe is the worse cafe in the country and they should not be allowed to...
