Little Dessert Shop Wigston — Restaurant in Oadby and Wigston

A 30 minute wait for a milk cake, a brownie and 2 scoops of ice cream is madness. There was only one customer in the shop when we arrived. I understand that there must have been online orders (many came and immediately left with bags) but was not impressed that we felt forgotten. None of our desserts needed much preparation other than putting in a box so can't really understand why we waited so long. We'd have been there even longer had we have not pointed out to staff that we were still waiting. This was my first time at LDS (also my last). Haven't even tried any of the desserts yet but can see that the brownie they gave me was the one that was sitting for a while in the open counter (very apparent as the chocolate was missing off the Bueno piece on top). First time attending - won't be coming back!

There was one other customer in the place at the time we ordered, and yet our order took 30 minutes to actually be brought over to us. Our icecream was practically a puddle of cream when it was put down in front of us, and was accompanied with a dessert that doesn't look like the pictures in the menu or on the screens. So disappointing considering how much you pay for your sweet treat!

Manners also wouldn't go amiss with some of the staff - certain people were friendly and were really helpful when we were asking where our desserts were and if we could have all of the icecream we paid for (as 1 scoop was missing), but one guy was just so rude and kept telling the uber delivery drivers (who were waiting as long as we were to collect orders) to "move" - no please or...

Have you ever wondered what magic could taste like? Look no further. Each and every time I buy from this shop I am never dissapointed, they always provide a generous portion and always use the freshest ingredients. I am simply blown away by the taste they manage to cast upon their dishes. Each and every employee who has worked on the food that I've ordered- thank you. No, you deserve more than that. You, to me, are a hero. You have provided an immaculate taste to my taste buds and have saved me time and time again.
