Asia Thai Corner, Failsworth — Restaurant in Oldham

This is so hard to give these marks, when we entered the greeting was lovely, it was a little busy so we had to wait for our order. We had, chicken satay starter, pad Thai, beef stir fry and I opted for the mixed meat jungle curry billed as a 3 chili temperature. Including Thai crackers it was £41.50 and certainly NOT worth the money. All the sauces was very watery especially in the jungle curry, the beef stir fry was also the same, the only thing eatable was the pad Thai, my friend said it was greasy but OK. My jungle curry was meant to be a 3 chili heatwave but was no more than a 1 chili so that was disappointing, the owner even said are you sure? She had me second guessing about choosing it because it was a 3 chili. Why do a lot of Chinese and Thai places make watery sauces, even the sweet chili sauce that came with the crackers had been watered down. It really spoils the taste and certainly isn't good for repeat business.

For the price £41.50 for 3 mains, a starter and crackers we'd get better food at an actual Thai restaurant.

We've ordered a few times from here now and the very first order was absolutely amazing. The following times were still good but today's order wasn't great at all. Today our prawns came in their shell, the vegetables were barely chopped and undercooked. The flavour wasn't the best either. Just don't think I can say it's a 5 star rated place due to such inconsistency. You just don't know if it'll be amazing or...
