Having taken the kids to most of the dessert places around Oxford. I thought I'd treat them to something different thismorning. So we headed to crêpe affair.. in all honesty, I wish I had just taken them somewhere else. I ordered both kids the £6 kids menu and upgraded it to have a milkshake for an extra £2.50.. and for myself I had a maple bacon crêpe with a latte.. the kids crêpe came overcooked and crispy with little to no Nutella on them. And the £2.50 extra milkshakes were about 250ml. So tiny. My kids drank them in about 3 gulps.. so for the £8.50 per child I payed, I was soo disappointed. My food wasn't much better either as the crêpe was doughy And I've had better coffee from McDonald's..I know my standards are high being a pastry chef myself. But for the price they charge, and the fact it's simply a crêpe . It's not that hard. the service wasn't much better either. With the staff member that took my order was clearly not having a great day as he was uninterested and threw stuff all around the counter whilst making the world's smallest milkshakes. So overall not impressed with the standard of food or service for my £28.35.. would not recommend and will not be back...

The staff don't know what's on the giant menu behind them, completely forget to make some portions of the order, and are coughing constantly through their thin paper masks. I'd ask why management can't just let them stay home when they're sick, but there doesn't appear to be any management in evidence.
They have only one functioning hot plate, which is not enough to serve a seating area of that size, even at off-peak hours. Crepes come out in a random order that bears no relation to the sequence in which orders were placed. I guess it might be OK if you have an hour to kill and don't care whether your table all eat at the same time. Thankfully, there are many better cafe options along...

Price wise, we spent what we would normally spend on lunch out. Customer service wise everyone was super friendly and working hard.
The stand out point that means we will be coming back time and time again is that they have a childrens play area with a sequin wall, plastic animal stools bean bags etc. - most businesses would have shoe horned an extra 4 tables in but it’s a rare find to see space given like that to families- and it meant we could eat with our daughter then unleash her to play...
