Very belated but very much deserved cake appreciation post for Happy Cakes.

I am still in awe of this incredible creation by Happy Cakes. From the offset, I was impressed with the range of previous creations showcased on the website and Facebook page, as well as the kind and generous work they are doing to support our valuable NHS staff amidst the current situation.

Julia could not have been more helpful and amenable to my requests and exceeded expectations when I arrived to pick up this masterpiece. Not only did it fulfil my brief, it looked exceptional and tasted even better :) The cake was light and fluffy and the buttercream perfect (not too sweet) which was great as you had the sweetness of the fresh fruit, macarons and meringue kisses. Despite being out for most of the day in the sun during our surprise birthday picnic, it was still fresh and tasted just as delicious a few days later!

I honestly can't rave about this cake enough so a huge thank you to Julia and the team at Happy Cakes. I will most certainly be ordering...

I made a last minute enquiry to Julia at Happy Cakes and I'm so glad I did! Amazing amazing cupcakes! In this tough covid world, it's hard not to be able to buy a big cake and share it with our family and friends. It was my housemates 50th birthday and he loves carrot cake. Julia made us 24 carrot cake cupcakes and OMG, they were amazing, quite honestly the best I've tasted! Julia even provided boxes so he was able to give them out to his family and friends with a hand written note. They were really touched and actually felt like they'd been part of his birthday. So many fantastic comments. If you want to spread the love, put a smile on people's faces and do this! I highly recommend Happy Cakes!

Julia made our son’s Christening cake last month. She really went above and beyond to make sure that it was perfect for the day; from patiently listening to my quite specific and unusual idea for a design, to sending me photos of trial models she’d made (edible handmade dragonflies!) to check that I was happy, to ensuring the cake was delivered safely. She also communicated promptly and frequently throughout the whole process. The cake itself was delicious and looked stunning. We were so happy with it and many guests complimented it too!
