Thought the food was quite good, although could’ve used more salt. One server was really great, the other kept telling us the “kitchen was too busy” for stuff even though there were only three other tables occupied.. what? Don’t you want your kitchen busy?? That put us off a bit. The tea came with some sweets which was appreciated, even though we couldn't get the chai (kitchen was too busy for that!!) sitting outside was lovely, next door doing jazz on a Sunday night was really nice. We were happy, but it could've been better with the service. We sat for twenty minutes when we arrived with nothing... No one coming... No water.

Stay clear away or do not order take away. Ordered, via Ubereats, sabji, tarka dal, bhindi, garlic naan, and coconut rice. Despite asking for vegan tarka dal we received one with tons of butter. Poppadoms smell rancid oil (fried in rancid oil). We asked for cutlery received none. Bhindi was extremely fibrous and hard to chew. Terrible waste of money. If you are not going to read the notes/msgs why do you have the option.

I went here for a birthday. At an immediate level, the decor is somewhat lacking, and the walls are a cold white. The above description applies also to the service: it isn't actively bad, but neither is it particularly warm or desirable. The food was very eatable and perfectly nice, though marginally on the over-sweet side.

I went to the restaurant with 2 of my friends with prior reservation. The first waiter who addressed me was polite and nice. Later on, two older waiters came in and they were very rude. They were constantly checking us as if we were just sitting there wasting time. When we placed the order (2 Biriyani and one veg dish), it took them 40min to serve. We asked them if we can have some chai in between and they said they can't handle this much order in the kitchen.

So we waited till the food was served. I am Bangladesh and my friends are from India and Iran. By our standard, the biriyani was 4/10. Very much under-salted and the spices have not simmered well enough into the meat/veg. Moreover we paid around 50GBP for this food. I would have been okay with the food if the service was nice. But, at the end, I was equally appalled at the service and the dishes. In my opinion, they should work on the service first. Regarding biriyani, it feels like a westernised version of...

Not authentic Pakistani or Indian food. Rather flavourless. Naan was too stiff. Priced reasonably. Pilau Rice was dry and hard. Made me bloat a lot o probably contains lots of tenderiser. Chicken didn't take like it was cooked in the curry, but was added after.

Peshawari naan was stiff and flakey with far too much coconut filling. The basmati rice must be the cheapest stuff as it was hard and short, no fragrant smell or fluffiness. The curry seemed to be boiled chicken thrown into a sauce rather than being cooked in it. The green chilli chopped in was an afterthought for me and was not used during the cooking as the curry had no flavour of spice.

Staff were polite and friendly and said it's all halal. It does sell...

We came here on New Year’s Eve and had overall a good experience. The food was tasty and nicely cooked but not as flavorful as at other Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants I have been to in the UK. I went for the Chicken Handi Lazeez, which was less spicy and rich than expected and a tiny bit on the watery side. My girlfriend had the Korai curry and it was a bit similar in flavor and texture to my dish. The service was professional and attentive, although that could be expected with some of the other tables being empty. We were slightly disappointed with the starter platter and they forgot our papadom order (we were not charged, so not an issue at all). Prices are ok. Overall a good experience but with some room for...
