Loved it. Just loved everything here. Have been quite a few times and it's a go to place after a nice day. Just to end the day with the best meal. Friendly staff and service. Make sure to book in advance as it can get quite busy sometimes. Sunday nights are quiz nights which was much more fun. The best place for Vegans and vegetarians in Oxford. A MUST TRY. Must must try. This was the place I wanted to be on my birthday for my special dinner date. And it was the best decision for that day. First we had a calzone and a burger which amused us. And then the surprise kept coming for all the other dishes. Chilli hot dog. Never expected red lentil can be used in many ways. The mushroom pie was another delicious one. Hot chilli garlic bread is another must try. For that price you get a burger with toppings and sauces of your choice and a bowl of fries. We usually order Cajun fries or Cajun fries with cheese. The curried mayo here is the star. Try Southern fried vegan burger with curried mayo and special hot sauce with other mayo or sauce and toppings of your choices you won't regret. The spinach calzone is our comfort food here. Fully loaded fries and dirty fries won't upset a fries lover. Toilets are in the back. Neat. There is seating outside in the back or inside. The place is quite cozy for groups to chill out. Last batch of friends hanging out or a single person who likes to read a book. There are books around here. The street beside it is where u can park your car. But there are only limited spaces. Really talented chef and he is a very good cook.

Great little pub-like restaurant serving vegan and vegetarian fare. Service is at the table and you'll eventually be assigned one by a waiter as you enter. Decor is inline with a pub aesthetic: dark wooden interior along with a feeling of an English living room as books sit in corners on shelves to tempt you while you wait for your order. Food is decent and vegan items are clearly labelled on the menu. The 'spicy chicken' kebab bowl is filling and varied enough to satiate a hungry diner. They do a tasty alcohol-free cider too which is hidden under the 'Beers' category on the menu. I've deducted a star because the ambience is a bit off-putting with the music played, sometimes directly above your head - often heavy metal and high BPM punk rock music which does not for a peaceful meal make. The service is a bit inattentive as well as I had to go up to the bar area to get them to take an order and to pay. If these things improve I'll bear no hesitation in recommending this lovely place in Jericho. They do accept card payment but not AmEx.

The best (vegan) burger I’ve ever had. Possibly because you can mix and choose to make your own perfect burger. I ordered a quarter pounder on a burger bun with everything (toppings) except for Jalapeños, and garlic mayo, bbq, and mustard for sauce. All vegan. The dirty fries were exceptional as well! They had non-alcoholic mocktails for cheap so we had those as well - perfect for the sunny outdoors. We waited for a table outside to open up while enjoying our drinks inside. The owners were exceptional with their service (surprising considering how busy the place was) and promptly moved us outdoors when a table opened up. Let them know if you’d like to sit outside when it is full so that they may look out for you. Might be subject to how busy they are.

The Gardener’s Arms” which was established in 2013. The meal we had was very good. The garlic flatbread [£2.90]- was nice- very garlicky. The Indian Thali platter- curry, tasty aloo sag (potato and a green), salad, mango chutney, basmati rice, pappadam [£10.95]. The medley mushroom pie- delicious puff pastry filled mixed mushrooms in a red wine and safe gravy served with Italian style roasted potatoes and mixed seasonal vegetables [£10.95]. Take a table each of which has one menu. When you decide what you want, go to the bar and order, pay and get your drinks. They will bring your food to you when ready. Credit cards are accepted.

Nice place. We went for dinner. Got to sit in the comfortable back room. Service was excellent and so was the food. Big portions. Drinks were good as well. Well worth going again. Highly recommended. I always like cheerful, chatty wait staff so they always get a better rating from me. One thing to keep in mind the wait staff here only gets the tip if you give it in cash, so carry some cash if you are the tipping kind, I am, but I know there is not a big tipping culture in UK. I would recommend this place. [In the food picture you can see Mexican Chili, Mezze platter and garlic bread with cheese. All veg.]

Much deserved appreciation for being a completely vegetarian/ mostly vegan resto-pub in Oxford. We were 3 friends and ordered 3 vegan main dishes. But 2 dishes would have been enough. Loved the platter & kebab bowl was regular (no risk). Those big chillies in the platter are not spicy at all. Mexican chilli was very spicy, i had it with rice the next day. Being a vegan and foodie, no food was wasted from our plate, including the flat bread & salad. i would definitely go here again in future.
