Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Plymouth

There were two immature little girls - (and yes I mean the people serving my Costa coffee) behind the counter messing about. They were giving very unprofessional customer service by goofing around. I asked what I would get in a special latte and they said all the flavours one after the other too quickly for me to understand. so I told them that I can't take in all the flavours that quickly and 'sophie' the person who was taking my order replied in a highly patronising manner by repeating the flavours really slowly in a stupid voice like she was suggesting that I was stupid. The other girl that was working beside her was laughing at me. This was highly inappropriate and very rude as I have a disability that disables me to take in certain information in one go. I am very angry and upset with this appalling customer service. And to top it off, I ordered a vanilla latte and was given hot milk. Will not be returning to this Costa Coffee again as I will not tolerate rude behavior...

Bland flat white due to excessive milk. Barista (manager apparently) needs to learn proper ratios and temperatures (milk was scolded). Not a pleasant experience. I also don't appreciate getting told what a flat white is by the manager who clearly had no idea based on the tasteless liquid served. Read the below recipe especially in relation to quantity of coffee to milk.

I come to this costa simply because i love costa coffee and this is my closest. HOWEVER everytime ive been in the staff are sooo rude!! Chatting amongst themselves moaning and complaining about other staff and customers. This is everything time i go in and the same 2 staff are on shift! Small blonde girl and tall red head. Its like asking them anything is an inconvenience!! If u want good coffee go! But don't expect service with a smile or a reply or even friendliness!! Definitely need retraining in hospitality!! Better yet get a new job that doesnt involve taking...
