Firstly I would just like to thank all involved in Carcheck Carcheck here in Plymouth have impressed me so much over the years I just had to make the effort in writing a review I stumbled across them from a friend after looking to have an MOT for £25 half the price of my usual garage so thought I would take a chance. I received a warm welcome from Mike and other members of the team and what seemed like a genuinely nice place to work made me think I had made a good choice, however as a cynic I thought I would wait for the bill before making up my mind. Quality cups of Tea provided They were great service all ( the billl was less than I expected ) round, no hard sell A thoroughly great company out to change the negative opinion of some other garages Ordered an engine from a national company Carcheck supplied me with a great knowledge and support through the hole engine change and gave me a lot of help and there attention to detail is spot on Darren and Lee really know there stuff and would recommend them to anybody my vw running like a dream again they will get you back on the road again fast turn around and honest people who really go out there way and will take the time to explain there(why pay over the odds when you can deal with a family run Business as car check Having had a service and other work done today Realistic pricing structure realistic people keep up the good work Carcheck willl se you next time any work needs...

Mike and the Mechanics of CarCheck recently diagnosed critical engine damage on my kia sorento and reccomended a replacement complete engine was needed. Having dealt with Carcheck on many earlier occasions i knew i could rely on there professional experience and once i sourced a new engine i then asked Carcheck to install it. As usual they done a brilliant job and in such a quick time as well, given the new lockdown restrictions they worked very hard to get the engine in and the car back on the road. I am delighted with there service and aftercare and naturally in future ONLY EVER USE CARCHECK for all my vehicle requirements which include speedy and reliable MOT's as well as there excellent repair services. As well as the excellent customer service i get at CarCheck i have always find there prices for MOT's and any Mechanical work very, very reasonable and fair. Twice as long a wait as advised and lost time out of work as a result. Changed their minds from a quote price for an add on minor part replacement job from a 5 minute £5 charge to a £70 1 hr job. For the same job. Found a genuine original part online for £12 new and it was in fact less than a 5 minute job to replace (my dad did it). I really don't like blatant dishonesty and being taken advantage of by charging an unfair high price when money is tight. Won't be going here...
