If you work for any delivery service try to not take orders from this restaurant, as the waiting time is ENORMOUS. Today an online client come after 2 hours of waiting for his order to ask the restaurant where is his order. Before 10pm I said “ let’s give them another try”. The app give me a double collection. I arrived to collect the orders and they told me “ I don’t know what you want to do but I don’t have any food for any order, so better you cancel them”. Just to make you understand after I spend time to drive there and I spend money on petrol, insurance and loose money for delivery. As a restaurant, in my opinion was their responsibility to inform the clients. So they let me to apologise for their unprofessional service to the clients and cancel the orders. For the clients that order from delivery service and they were not happy. I am sure that the delivery guys tried their best to get your order, but this KFC is really unprofessional with the delivery staff. I seen today making order for the Drive Through and present clients and at the delivery service not even looking. They made 7 orders outside and one for delivery, with 6 people from delivery waiting...
Read moreThey close at 10pm and we entered on 12th December at 9.52pm. After not noticing us for 5 minutes a very confrontational member of staff said she couldn't serve us as they're closed. I explained we had been waiting 5 minutes whilst I could hear the staff talking behind the counter/shelving. She told me legally she couldn't serve me as she had closed her till and couldn't take my order. I had to educate her that there is no legal obligation to not serve a customer if your till is closed 3 minutes before closing time. Unfortunately I did not get her name.
Thankfully a more compassionate and understanding (and most likely more senior) member of staff came over and I explained the situation. She said if we didn't mind ordering from the drive through then she would be happy to serve us. Problem solved.
KFC is KFC, the food will be the same everywhere. The difference is not the food, its the people. If KFC employed a whole team like the first lady, then the Plymouth franchise would close down. If they had a whole team like the helpful lady then they will have a tonne of happy customers.

Read moreOrdered kfc last night and my experience was honestly so bad it's laughable. I ordered my food on Uber eats. When ordering I said what's the bets they forget something beacuse they ALWAYS do. So food came quickly. But when getting the bag there was only one meal in the bag and chips, there was ment to be 3 meals and couple sides. I don't understand how they can get it that wrong. Is it that hard to double check the bags ?? So instead of having to wait for the refund or reorder the food as we all wanted to eat together and tbh I was so fed up with them being so bad at the jobs I wanted to go and say it to them. So I just drove to the kfc. I spoke to the manager I was not rude at all but obviously I'm annoyed as I explained this happens every single time.also explained I wanted it delivered for a reason and now I've had to drive here I did not get a sorry I actually hardly got any words said to me apart from 'if your wanting a refund I can't do that in store ' so yeah not worth it tbh.
