Stoke Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Plymouth

A little bit lacking in frequency of drink order taking but it was very clean. There seemed to be plenty of staff so maybe it was just a bit busy. (Edit: they only had one card machine between all the servers so understandable)

The food was really nice and arrived at the table quickly once it has been ordered.

The bouncer was very kind and accomodating to my disability and through the night made sure everybody stuck to covid rules like wearing a mask when up and making sure people were not being too rowdy and raised voice

Overall it was a very enjoyable night and it was a very clean place handled by professional staff

(Edit) I lost my phone at the end of the evening and Nicki said that she would let me know if she found it, she did! and my girlfriend picked it up the next day and Nicki wouldn't take my tip even though I insisted and said that she would rather I came there again. Now I will....

Had a very nice Steak lunch and a couple beers. Background music was a bit more than back ground and was too loud (nightclub loud)to be able to chat across the table. It was a public holiday so maybe not like this all the time. Extremely busy at the bar but you get served in a timely manner, From what I saw all the staff in this establishment work extremely hard and are very efficient at what they do and in my opinion you're made to feel welcome. Reduce the music decibels a little bit and the dining experience would be great. Would definitely eat here again and hopefully the music will be at a level where you can converse across the table while...

Having been for a carvery a week previously and commenting how it was probably the best I'd eaten in Plymouth, I was really looking forward to taking the family. However, having phoned up and booked a table for 6 adults and 3 kids and clearly mentioning that I needed high chairs, I was disappointed to arrive and be shown to a table for 6 and only have 5 chairs and no high chairs available. Gutted as all were looking forward to a meal but we had to leave as we felt we were on top of everybody else and couldn't have fed the kids. I would thoroughly recommend based on the previous visit but I've learnt my lesson now. Book 2 weeks...
