STOKE KEBAB HOUSE — Restaurant in Plymouth

Last night Tuesday 27th June, I got food from here, and the man that did it was kind, talkative and professional, may I add the food was also fresh, hot and the chips were filled full and salty, which is what I wanted. However, I got it again on Wednesday 28th June as I just finished work late, and it was a different guy that did it this time, not professional at all, the kebab meat had been sat there for ages by the looks of it already cut, and horrible, the chips we got was half full at best, and not salty at all, after I had asked for salt. I don’t know their name’s obviously, but the first time I got it, it was amazing, the second time was awful, and it was 2 different guys that did it. I will be going again, but I will be asking for the same guy as the Tuesday, not...

We were staying in a hotel and ordered mixed Kebab wraps using just eat.The delivery was fine but the food was not so much. The wraps were nothing but loads of meat stuffed and rolled in a bread with no sauce and no salad mixed in. The salad came separately basically a bit of chopped up tomato and cucumber thrown in a container with no dressing or spice. The chips were chewy, cold and tasteless. Salt and pepper was not included. The whole meal was dreadful in terms of presentation and taste and gave us a fair bit of indigestion. This is what gives Kebab in the UK the terrible reputation it has of being food for drunks. I suggest a trip to Europe or nearby GDK to see how it should be...

When I first went to the shop, the spacious and clean environment of the shop caught my attention. Two friendly and polite young people greeted me. When I take my orders and go home; Lamb doner was very tasty, chicken doner was excellent in sauce and seasoning. Although the dough of the pizza was very crispy and satisfying, the ingredients were fresh and its appearance was very beautiful. The Stoke Village area has a nice Take Away Shop. They deserve more than five stars for their decoration, simplicity, cleanliness and hygiene, the taste of kebabs and pizzas, most importantly, with their hardworking, young and smiling employees.
