Stoke Inn — Restaurant in Plymouth

A very bad experience dealing with the bar and owner. I do fundraising for make a wish Foundation and left a charity snack box at the bar, the staff have stolen the full box worth then told me they dont know anything about the box and that I am a scammer, speaking to the owner he Just got aggressive and defensive again telling me I'm a scammer .it did not matter how many times I ordered to show our fundraising number and i.d and asked them to contact the charity. In the center of Stoke Village in every way. A very good choice of beers as well as a menu which looks to use produce from local suppliers and from the 3 weekly Stoke Village market, the food is always good. This is complimented by a large library of books but also a plethora of pub games which encourages you to stay and relax a while. A good mixture of locals and local business people always make it worth a visit. Oh yes and just to say great value roasts...

Horrible place. Sat quietly at the bar, had my back to everyone & while my partner was taking to someone these awful girls (one of which was bar staff) set on me saying im taking videos of them, telling me to show them my phone etc, i was infact sending my daughter a text message,which has nothing to do with them, facing away from everything!
