Read moreA treat from my son and daughter in law when I visited them in Portsmouth. May not look that much from the outside but goodness me, the service and food was absolutely outstanding. Warmly received and shown to our table. Promptly provided with Papadam’s and pickles along with the menu. The menu had a fantastic selection of traditional and specialty dishes, far too much to list but did take time to work through. The service was amazing from the very attentive staff. We opted for starters and a main course, both of which were mouth-wateringly divine. So much so that I would say that this was the best Indian/Bangladeshi food I have tasted in a long time. The Tarka Dhal was to die for! The food was served piping hot and after the starters were served and devoured, we were politely asked if we wanted to wait for five minutes or so before the main course. That is good caring service. Just listing a couple of dishes we had, the Hush(Duck) Tikka, Jhinga Suka, Fish Tikka, Lamb Biriani, Lamb Pasanda. All in all a fantastic meal in a very warm and well decorated(Inside) restaurant. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. Nearby street...
