North End Cafe — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Took my children here for some lunch today and would rate it more stars if I could. I have a child with adhd and one with autism, the gentleman who served us was amazing with them. He made us all feel comfortable and we didn't feel rushed to choose. All our orders were individual and the waiter was so patient, we received our food quickly and everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the portion size was generous. My infant child was given small/child sized cutlery as well which was a lovely personal touch. The prices were very reasonable too, after we had finished, our table was cleared quickly and the children were given a lollypop. We really had a better experience here than we have at alot of other restaurants, big and small. Highly recommend and will be dining here...

A gem of a place. Staff are very friendly and helpful as my wife has many allergies. They went out of the way to make sure there was no cross contamination which made her feel very relaxed. The prices are very reasonable and my steak and kidney pie came out piping hot!

It’s also handy that it’s literally a stones throw away from Stubbington Avenue Car Park. I feel minded to point out that the management would prefer cash if possible so next time we go, we will make sure that we have some. Well done all...

Nice to be back in the place after a long time. Staff are very friendly and the service was fantastic. Tea was made without asking. Had my first brunch in over 18 months. See photo. I should have asked for beans to go with it or had tinned tomatoes option from the set breakfast menu. Tea and toast (wholemeal) was included in the price.
