I was supporting a group of 5 disabled clients I work with today. We decided to stop in Wetherspoons to grab drinks and eat our sandwiches as it was raining and the guys we hungry. We were served by a polite male staff on the till who was friendly and understanding. When we got our sandwiches out, a member of staff told us we have to sit elsewhere if we want to eat our own food. I explained I understood it was out of the usual but most places are fairly understanding, that there are no clear rules stating we can’t do this and that we have actually ordered many drinks. The woman continued to be rude and not very understanding. I am very lucky it did not trigger any behaviours for my clients and they packed their sandwiches up without complaining and we ate in the rain. A woman behind me then continued to be very rude and tell us we are silly and no where will let us in. I said I understand this but we’ve had kind retail staff members let us eat before as we don’t cause any bother and always order drinks but she continued to go on and the staff members watched and ignored. Eventually we left. Not a pleasant experience. Would have had a few nasty things to say in person if I wasn’t with my clients as was focused on making sure...

Was generally nice, a lot of those who were drinking and watching football were sat in the area people would usually dine in, the only spare seats was right under the TV which was annoying because people were standing behind us and next to us watching the TV and it was uncomfortable whole we were trying to eat. If you go to eat here try to get a booth. Food is generally good, however when looking on the app to order it was apparent there were a lot of things that we could not order, when we ordered dessert they were cold and not warm like we thought they would be, four scotch pancakes and one small scoop of ice cream with that isn't enough. The person who I was with ordered the chocolate brownie because both the cookie sandwich and the fudge cake was crossed off the app, and when it was given to us we were given an apology that the brownie didn't have any sauce that it was meant to have because they had ran out. Service was very very fast however, waited less than ten minutes for food to arrive which is great. Four stars because fast service and good food, not five because there could be room for...

Been here for the last few months/Tuesday's due to visiting my son at QA hospital, on my last 2 Monday visits (kroningberg Mondays price ÂŁ2.55) was told kroningberg wasn't on due to different reasons, on the Tuesdays I was able to order kroningberg, I asked for a larger top only for ieach time I was served with the lemonade put In first, I repeated to each barperson (some management) I asked for a top, to which I was told it couldn't be done, this evening I went through the same routine only for the lemonade to once again put in first, to add insult to injury all I got was that's ÂŁ3.09 NO PLEASE, NOTHING, I asked again how much same response, Itchen said please wouldn't hurt, PLEASE came back, I trained as a manager for ur fantastic company at Gatwick (around 1996/97). No way would we or any of our staff been allowed to treat our very valued customers in this was. Cheap drinks and high profit margins doesn't mean bad service from some of ur staff, maybe u should employ some of us old staff to show the standard that you used to hold so dear, kind regards...

The staff in this pub were excellent. I enjoyed a pleasant evening meal served promptly on their application by Lydia who is a credit to the establishment. The following morning I enjoyed an al fresco breakfast outside again with excellent service. The pub is located in a quiet pedestrian precinct in Cosham and is large and spacious. Well worth a visit

We have been long term patrons here. It is not perfect, occasional violence, rarely has sweet chilli sauce, but we love it like an inappropriate uncle! One new employee was rubbish but hey the regular staff were their normal great selves. Faith restored, star returned!

We came in for some snacks before the bingo and our food was brought over by a wonderful young man called Edgar (aka Ben). Although he wasn’t able to provide me with the correct gravy he brought the wrong one over with a smile. Thanks for the great service. Keep it up
