We recently had the pleasure of dining at Secret Alley, and it was a truly exceptional experience. The restaurant perfectly captures the essence of Kerala’s traditional flavors, offering a culinary journey that is both authentic and delightful.

Constructive criticism as it’s new & I would guess that the owners haven’t run a restaurant before. On the positive side, the main meals were really really nice & a little bit different to the norm. The pan fried beef & coconut was exceptional. As was my wife’s fish Biryani. The staff were friendly though seemed inexperienced. Downsides. The popadoms were stale & thin & seemed pre-cooked & packaged. The plates for the mains were cold as was the serving serving dish that my meal came on, particularly disappointed with this as it was a pan fried dish with no sauce that cooled down very quickly. The pan pipe Simon & Garfunkel in the background was horrendous & on repeat. No alcohol free beer available, though advertised. Overall, good value with good food, although we didn’t try a starter. Easy fix to make this a vibrant, friendly & local restaurant. Please take note of this review as we will be back in the near future & at some point with a large curry club group which I suspect you would not have been able to deal with last night. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, with warm lighting and vibrant decor that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. But it's the food that's the real star of the show – each dish is carefully crafted with love and attention to detail, using only the freshest ingredients.

I've tried several items on the menu, but the standouts for me are the flavorful and aromatic Biryani, and the crispy and addictive Samosas. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.
