I had delivered mixed kebab and some special chicken tikka and lamb rogan josh curries. In general I thought it was good enough, and if could would've voted between 3.5 stars if I could on reviews, but don't feel justified to give a full 4 stars.

The portion sizes (especially for the mixed kebab) are generous, and price is good compared to similar Indian food places. I enjoyed the mixed kebab, but it had cooled to a slightly luke-warm condition since it was given inside an airy pizza box, and could've ideally been wrapped in some paper packaging as well or something to prevent heat loss, otherwise would've give that alone a 5 star rating since I enjoyed it still.

The curries I found to have quite a strong tomato-y sweet taste to the sauce that I wasn't used to (may come down to my own overall taste palette) but to me it made them feel less overpowering in taste then what I would have liked, but in general they were good dishes, just didn't enjoy as much.

Due to food packaging and curry quality, would overall rate 3.5 stars for that delivery, but in general could've been like 4.5 - 5 stars if had good kebab packaging and if I could inform the chef beforehand about that specific curry preference (obviously not something they could've known themselves, just my...

Was the best curry house for miles. I now need to find another as recently the number of chicken pieces in a curry has dropped drastically. Used to be able to share one portion of curry between me and the missus, now we need to get 3 curries and end up with lots of left over gravy. Last week they served 4 pieces of chicken in a balti with 4 tomatoes, complained which I hate doing and said we'll send a curry in 20 mins. Waited over 45 mins and called back and argued that the chef would not do this..... been waiting now for well over 2 hours now to have a decent meal with the missus, and then had the cheek to not even tell me they are not replacing the curry that they said they will do.

So Saturday night got wasted from 9.30 till just before midnight to be told sod off in a nutshell. I would not have left such a bad review but the fact he messed me about on saying he will replace vs not replacing anymore cheesed me off entirely.

If they were not going to replace the curry then fine, at least I would have known what to do.

This was the best in town for many years, in fact I was one of their first customers when they first opened and had only been going here ever since and not any other curry houses. Shame it's down in the pits..... now to go...

So I have now ordered from this place twice... and both times it has been an absolute disaster. The first time I ordered, it took 3 hours for the food to arrive, the manager intervened and apologised and with a little trepidation, I decided to give them a second chance considering the food was ok last time... So now nearly 3 hours has passed again, and I haven't received my food... at this point the quality is irrelevant.. an hour ago, I was told 15 minutes maximum till we received our order. My partner is now asleep, the food may arrive tonight, but I'm past caring. Rarely have I been fed such utter lies when I have called to chase an order. Avoid like the plague, excuses after excuses, blatant lies, shoddy service... my order was placed just after 7... its nearly 10 now... this is the second time this has happened after giving them the benefit of the doubt last time. Quite simply, dont order... quite possibly the most incompetent...
