Saw this place on social media it looked good. Wasn't expecting too much as social media always hypes things up.. But this meal did not disappoint.. Parking was a bit difficult but you should find some free street parking. The shop is small but has some seating area. The shop was empty when I went, which was good as got served straight away. Phone through order was ready for collection. Bought the Hot Chick box and Broast chicken piece for just over £13. It was a bit too much for me to eat in one meal so ate it over the next 24 hours at home. The first thing I ate was the FireCracker burger. Now the reviews said this burger was the bomb and rivals Miamis.. In my view Miamis wasn't all that but this burger is definitely up their as one of the better chicken burgers especially in Preston / Blackburn area. The burger comes separately wrapped which keeps it warm. The chicken fillet is chunky and a good size. Doesn't hang out the bun too much.. The good thing about this burger is also the way its put together... it hold its structure as you eat it and doesn't collapse or make a mess. The cheese has a nice taste aswell as the sauces.. I think they have got the spice level spot on. At first it hits you but its not too much... So def enjoyed the burger. The fries were really good... prob some of the best fries had in a while... I'm not a wing person so the wings were just OK for me. The batter seasoning is nice. You get a lot of donner meat. It was stir fried in spicy sauce I think. With the first few bites I didn't like it, it reminded me of that standard rubbery chip shop donner... but the sauce gives it an edge. However the next day after reheating it and adding a naan it tasted better. Not a major issue and the big portion makes up for it. The broast chicken was a first for me. The batter at first reminded me of fish batter which was confusing. But after a few bites you do enjoy it. The meat was well cooked. But for a breast piece meat was a bit lacking. However they had thrown in a free strip and wing which made up for this. The chicken strip was top. Definitely prefer this broast piece over the usual fried chicken. I didn't get a fork or any napkins but did get some sauce tubs. Oh and a drink is included so a pretty decent price for the variety and flavours. If it was just the fillet burger meal I'd give it a 5/5 but the donner let's it down a bit.

Finally!!!!! I've found somewhere that exudes the passion about their produce and service!!! My kids always pull me up when I point out the lack of pride and passion the food industry shows these days (old chef habits die hard!! - you should never forget 'your customer always have a choice... And they have chosen to spend their money with you!!) Greeted with a warm smile, my order was taken without delay. "is this your first time here?“ I was asked... Upon confirmation, I was treated to two pieces of chicken, the first, dipped In a fiery fruity chilli 'bath' and then retrieved, the second served with a fruity, sweet pepper, pickle mayo(?) Both sauces are made in house and the staff are proud to promote this, together with a miriad of other produce also, including the keema topping on the meat feast pizza and the secret chicken coating that absolutely knocks the pants OFF a very well known "initialed southern fried chicken" chain.. Into the next county!!! Flavoursome, light, crispy and absolutely "finger licking good!!“ Only open 5 weeks, I really hope this place and it's staff take off and grow, but also remember to stay true to the standards of service and food quality that have xx driven me to write this review. Thanks gents!!!! And good luck, I will defiantly see you again soon!!

So this is going to be a detailed review as I’ve had almost every single meal on their menu. Burgers:- I have tried their Juicy lucy burger, Cheetos burger and fire cracker burger. The juicy lucy is hands down the best in town. The meat was perfectly cooked and tasted nothing less than delicious. The cheetos and fire cracker burger was extremely spicy but they were too good to complain. Parmesan:- I tried their hot & spicy parmesan and it was indeed a very generous serving. It was packed with flavour and hit.every.spot. Pizza:- I have tried three pizzas from here, but Asian style pizza is definitely the winner for me. The cheese pull was munificent and the crust was crispy just like how I like it. They are definitely the place I go to whenever I crave for pizza. Chicken:- I also have tried their chicken strips and chicken popcorn. Both are my 20 month old baby’s favourite and he is obsessed with them. I felt they were more like bite - sized chicken nuggets. I have tried all these at different times and I was waiting for a good time to give them a review. But today’s asian style pizza was spot on and I had to do this today. 10/10 would recommend. Keep up the great work guys.

Finally made the trip to Preston to try Fire House. The big chap serving me was extremely friendly. I ordered the firecracker box and Asian pizza. I did want gravy but they were out of gravy. Also told they were out of wings (was around 9pm on a Sunday so understandable). They put a couple of broast chickens in instead.

The firecracker box - The box was loaded to the point the box wouldn’t close. The donner was lovely and unlike other places they kept the donner as strips oppose to cutting it up into small places like most places do which to me takes away the flavour. I believe donner should always stay as strips. Now the spicy dipped burger that was the star of the show.. Absolutely loved it. The only advice I can give is use better mayonnaise the creamy type like your Miami’s etc but nonetheless was really nice and was overly soggy and wasn’t messy to eat. The chicken broast I wasn’t too impressed with but I prefer wings over chicken pieces so they were never going to impress me anyway.

The Asian style pizza. The pizza was ok but the chillies used weren’t proper chillies as no spice kick also wasn’t enough pizza sauce on there which is the mistake most places make. Has potential with a few tweaks and I’d like some stringy mozerella on there as well.

Yes there is room for improvement but just for the burger alone I’ll give you 5*. Will definitely be coming back to preston.

p.s I couldn’t finish the meal there was that much but saved me from making lunch the...

Firehouse in Preston? Absolutely Brilliant!

Just wanted to give a massive shoutout to Firehouse in Preston! I was passing through and decided to grab some food, and I'm so glad I did. The person serving me, Naqsh (hope I've spelled that right!), was absolutely lovely. We were waiting for our takeaway and it happened to be Iftar time (Ramadan). He was so kind, he offered us dates, bananas, and tangerines on the house so we could break our fast. Seriously, that was such a thoughtful gesture and really made my day. We went for the "Mega Deal" - £29.99 and honestly, it was incredible value. We got a pepperoni 12" pizza (delicious!), four burgers, six crispy fried strips, loads of fries, and a big bottle of Pepsi. Plus, they gave us loads of sauces - garlic, chilli, their own house sauce, and ketchup. Everything was delicious! The pizza was spot on, burgers were really tasty, and the strips were super crispy. You could tell it was all made with care.

Honestly, the food was great, but it was Naqsh's kindness that really made the experience. Such a warm and welcoming place, especially during Ramadan. I'm definitely going back next time I'm in Preston, and I'm dying to try their chicken Parmo! If you're looking for a good feed at a great price, with proper friendly service, you need to check out Firehouse. Highly...
