Visited here on the eve of 21st feb, was not the best experience we were the only couple in, which in itself is not a problem as it was only 6pm the place itself is very large and was extremely cold, we were seated and waited quite a while for someone to come over to see to us a very nice girl came over she took our drinks order, but said some one else would come to take our food order, so we waited again and waited and waited eventually someone came to take our food order, we then waited and waited for our starter to come we had ordered a mixed starter platter for 2 when they came over with that only the crispy won tons were brought? We asked where the rest was she said that was coming? She then fetched over a lettuce and something else which we asked what it was she said it was our starter? We told her that was not our order, so she took it away then fetched it back again we told her again that was not ours and could she fetch a menu so we could show her what we ordered, she bought one, we pointed out our choice then she proceeded to turn over a few pages to show us the set menu she was serving us?? Which at no point had we ever mentioned, she went away and went to find her waitresses pad to see what she had wrote down which turned out to be the totally wrong thing!! So then we had to wait all over again, now on a busy evening where she is taking loads of orders whilst annoying I would have been able to forgive this mistake but in a restaurant where we were the only diners I find this to be unacceptable,so then we had to wait some more! When we finally got our food and it was what we had ordered the food itself was extremely tasty and we really enjoyed it all in all we here over 2hrs and still the only 2...

It’s jumbo Chinese restaurant in prospect Hill
We have been there in a calm evening around 9 o’clock. We found a spacious car parking with a ramp for wheelchair accessible entry. The staff were so welcoming. They have arranged a big table for us and made us so comfortable to select the place near the window and helped us to choose the menu.
We had a lot of doubts in the food as their names is in Chinese, but the staff were politely explained every single menu in detail, how they have been cooked, How they have been served and how we can eat it.
I am not sure about the names of every food we have eaten, but we had Rice, Prawns, Beef, Fish, Dumplings, Salads, Drinks and lot of varieties, which was so delicious.
I can barely named them Yuk chung Diced pork with crispy lettuce King prawns with black beans Sauce Sizzling lamb with Ginger and onions Sizzling chicken with Black beans sauce Sizzling fillet steak of beef Yang Chow rice Crispy spring roll
This is the first time I’m visiting a Chinese restaurant and I could taste the proper Chinese food in a proper way of being cooked.
They were so presentable and appetising. We nearly finished everything whatever we have ordered and packed the remaining things and went home with full satisfaction.

Read moreSo I hate leaving a bad review and always try to find something to praise but Jumbos was just shocking....having booked an early table at 6pm we were first through the door. Initially staff seemed lovely, quite attentive but it went rapidly down hill. We ordered a set meal of 3 courses, a soup, crispy duck and a selection of mains. Soup took about 30 minutes to turn up and was overly spicy, to the point most of our party left it thinking we'd not be able to taste anything else. We then waited nearly an hour before questioning where our next course was...we were told mains were coming. We reminded them we expected the duck next. In a this time people who arrived after us were being served (they seemed to be known regulars) and food delivery drivers were being given priority. We finally got the duck, not so much crispy as just ok. We then waited nearly another hour for the rest of our food (after an apology they had no sea bass and would be substituting cod). By the time it turned up, we were past hungry and most of the dishes were incredibly salty. We decided to leave after complaining about the terrible service and were offered nothing, no discount, just a weak apology. We spoke to 2 other couples outside who were leaving for the same reasons. I only wished I'd refused to pay or at least pushed for a reduction. Thank you Jumbos for ruining my parents 64th wedding anniversary with some distinctly average food and the worst service I have ever received. 'The finest Chinese in Worcestershire' you certainly are NOT. My advice is to avoid...
