would give zero stars if was allowed-we popped there today to grab some food as it was a nice day , 3ofus had the fried rice chips and curry sauce special and 2 of us had just chips and curry sauce , we hadn’t been there since the summer and wished we hadn’t of bothered as the only thing worth the visit was the pot of curry sauce!!! The chips were soft ,soggy and really really greasy!!!and out of both bags of chips we nearly had enough green chips to make 1bag of chips ,to say the least we was totally unimpressed as they wasn’t even busy and they were supposed to of been cooked fresh , I know that you cannot help the odd green chip here or there but this was not the case , I must say that this was the worse tasting and looking bag of chips we have ever had !!!! And that is saying something!!! they are not exactly cheap , just because of COVID etc does not mean you can cut corners with quality!! Just make other adjustments somewhere!!! It’s not like the portions are even big , even the big portion is what I would call a normal portion size ,the fried rice was tasteless and the only reason it was edible was the addition of the curry sauce , what a let down to such a lovely sunny day , one thing is for sure we won’t be going there ever again , you can get better food at hospitals or schools Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else or save your money we wish...

It is difficult to explain how awful the food we had from this place was. I should have bailed out when I asked for chips and gravy to be told we don't do gravy. The chips were soft, greasy, cooked in fat that wasn't hot enough. The most greasy chips I have ever seen to the point that when I unwrapped them they had congealed into a solid mass of greasy pieces of potato. The curry sauce which I opted for in the absence of gravy was slightly runnier than water. The sausage which was microwaved and then deep fried in the 'not hot enough' frier was grim.... and guess what...it was very greasy!

We ordered three meals. All three went in the conveniently placed bin just down the road from the shop.

Without doubt the most appalling excuse for a chip shop I have ever experienced. Do yourself a favour, don't waste your money, and never, ever visit this place.

The chips were just about edible but the fish was terrible couldn't eat it, I took food home and it was like opening up a bag of grease, both fish and chips were swimming in grease and as for the curry sauce even that had a layer of grease on top of it and didn't taste much like chip shop curry sauce. I can only assume that the fryers are not hot enough, the oil is bad or they don't let the fryers heat up properly before cooking food which is why all the food is saturated with oil/grease and not to mention a huge food safety issue due to the risk of undercooked food If they can't be a good fish and chips shop and provide good quality chip shop food then they should just stick to...
