Beautiful bread , but it stops there. Went for lunch and first impressions upon entering were enough to question our choice, however past visits had for a member in our party had been quite positive. First impression, half the tables were not cleared yet the staff of young adults were just standing around and not really concerned about presentation. Ordered three sandwiches to , had to ask politely 3 times for a table to be cleared then did it ourselves. Waited twenty minutes for the the first sandwich which was the mozzarella and prosciutto. There was literally nothing except for a piece of prosciutto. When questioned the young girl who was the manager on duty said the sandwiches were premade and there was no offer to rectify except a refund. The two blt’s that were ordered were just as pathetic, plus two out of three sandwiches had HAIR in them. You honestly could get a better presented sandwich out of a box at a grocery store. Supervision of an immature staff really is need. Much better choices in Reigate.

At this point I really feel like I should buy shares in chalk hills with how often I visit them. Awesome oat milk mochas. The best sourdough. Stocking great cupboard essentials, I do a lot of my basics shopping there (amazing smoked salmon and cream cheese in their fridge! Fresh eggs and cheese also available!) I also love their variety of coffee products (buy all my coffee machines fresh beans from there) and most importantly their marmite and cheese twist (heat it up and omg it’s the best: see picture for half eaten one). Please visit chalk hills for a takeaway snack or for some bread to take home if you’re in Reigate. Yes it’s down the road from the main parade but the produce and the people are infinitely better than the rubbish you find in the main stream chain places. Shop small!!

Popped in today for a cuppa as the cafe in the park was closed and loved it! Served quickly and by friendly staff. It all looked so nice I bought a pastry and pulled up a stool with a cuppa. Really lively and upbeat in there. They sell the usual hot drinks, breakfast bits, breads etc.. Highly recommend!

Hands down, the best bacon sandwich I have ever had... This does come with a price, a financial one. I paid more money than I have ever paid for a sandwich and if I knew before I entered and waited in the queue, I probably would have given it a miss.

The bakery is a lovely little place with fancy pastries and cakes. I've yet to try the coffee there but if it's as good a quality as the sandwich I ordered, it's...
