honestly in my stay in reigate i was originally planning to go to check out reigate caves and the barons caves aswell however what i didn't realise was that they only open once a month on certain days rather than be open on a proper schedule so i was somewhat disappointed to not be able to go in however, i still did explore most of the outside area looking around seeing the beautiful lake, trees, certain path ways that lead out from the caves, the castle part etc. i did see that grave stone or monument thing however i didn't get to properly check it out or take a photo of it but i guess theres always next time if i decide to come back to visit. still loved my walk...
Read moreI walked from Redhill to Reigate Castle Grounds, and it was absolutely worth it! The place is calm and serene, perfect for a relaxing stroll or simply unwinding on one of the many benches.
Visiting in spring made it even more special—the trees were in full bloom, adding vibrant colors to the landscape. The open space is great for families, with plenty of room for children to play. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy nature, soak in the history, and take a break from the hustle and bustle.
