the group of 3 people that visit you tonight on the 2/10/25 at 7:30 Lovely food but went very sour in the end. We was a group of 3 ladies on table 151. There was a was asked for pudding from a young short girl. With long brown hair, that after 30mins of waiting. We gave up in waiting and asked for the bill. After 25mins we ask a tall blonde guy to ask if that sorted the blue light discount. In which she didn't. We had to wait ages to the manger to do so. Then we split the bill. The young girl and my miss heard each other and the girl put in the wrong amount in. To be fair to the girl. She ask twice and my friend, which had differently in hearing said yes. My friend asked if she can refund it all and start again. Then that's where it started, the girl rudely replied to her twice over and when to get help to sort it out. After 20mins more my friend went to check and the very young manager at that time, said she don't know how to refund the money. We waited longer, until I had enough watch these 3 young girls, behind the bar chair, laughing. So I got up on my crutches and walked over. I asked again, the small brown hair girl smerking and said she the manager and on the phone. Then made the remark it's our fault in getting the info right. I replayed in say you need to sort out your customer service out, asked to have names as I'm reporting it.. the new manager said she's only been there 2 weeks and not trained! I asked why? It's 1 of the first things you learn. The manger she was talking to Liam and was told by her that it's not the first she been left alone to manger the store. So you informed me a young girl was left untrained/unsupervised by peers. Before she was ready. I asked the 3rd for there names but the refused to give them. I asked to speak to Liam but he refused to speak to me. So I told it's been a hour in try to pay the bill. I give you 5min until we walked out. The manger at the sorted out just in time. The poor girl was put in a place of complete stress over lack of training. Where she was crying and shaking. Make our night a complete mess and making us looking like a bad group but we got fed up on poor service and very...

Read moreI regularly dine at Wagamama in Reigate and I've always enjoyed the food and service. However, my visit today was disappointing.
I ordered a dish, that I've ordered many times before, but some of the rice pieces seemed uncooked or burnt; basically rock hard pieces within the dish. Very unusual for Wagamama. I politely requested a replacement and explained the issue; the guy, I believe his name was Leon, who served my table has great customer service skills and handled this well.
The replacement came and the portion size was much less than was originally served. I didn't complain about this, as I had already complained about the rock hard rice! One of the managers came over to apologise about the first meal and he was also lovely.
When I was leaving, the manager who apologised for the meal was standing alongside, I assume another manager, as they were wearing similar attire. When I looked over at them, he was polite and professional when saying goodbye to guests. However, she was looking at me in a very unfriendly manner, which I didn't like. I got the impression that my complaint about the food was not well received.
If a customer has an issue with the food/drink or service, they are within their rights to respectfully bring this to the attention of staff. I did this in a polite manner to the member of staff who served my table. I then don't expect for a senior member of staff to give me an unsavoury look as I leave the premises. It was unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour from a senior staff member. This doesn't encourage...
