I found this place online after I was staying at the Holiday Inn express Gatwick international where the food was horrible so I decided to go for a little ride to Horley and found this place taxi driver couldn’t find it so I walked around. Google had me going in all kinds of different direction finally went into a bakery found the answer. The lady inside very kind said it’s just right there and I walked by it three times signage was an issue hard to find but Went in gentleman that was took. My order was very helpful. I had to call him a couple times and he said he’s just right by the pub and not knowing the area I couldn’t find it so anyway I ended up finding him he made me my breakfast and probably one of the better breakfast I’ve had in Europe Didn’t overcook the sausages didn’t overcook the eggs didn’t overcook the bacon the beans I didn’t like black pudding so he switched it never never made a fuss whatever you want he said that’s all which was incredibly satisfying to find somebody that understands what customer service is if you ever get a chance and you’re at the Gatwick hotel staying at the Holiday Inn express save your money take a cab ride to take an Uber. It’s cheaperfrom the Holiday Inn express go to Horley. It’s five minutes away planet suite it’s a great place to stop food was delicious just a little hole in the wall. Those are the best places to hit highly recommend it added to your...
Read morei had breakfast here this morning, totally unimpressed with the staff, the food and the price. I ordered two poached eggs on toast, two sausages, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, black pudding with two slices of bread and butter and a tin of coke all for the bargain price of £10.50 The food arrived minus the toast, on alerting the waiter who took my order he tried to tell me that i hadn’t ordered any toast, it was only after i reminded him quite firmly that “two poached eggs on toast” was the first part of my order did he concede and i got my toast, the sausages looked cheap and were tasteless, i got a single tinned tomato, the single slice of black pudding was cut so thin that it was almost transparent and the buttered slices of bread were almost stale, so dry that when i folded them in half they actually broke in two, there was barely a scraping of butter on the bread too! The cafe was quite busy with customers, but that’s no excuse for what i was served, i would definitely NOT recommend this cafe and i will NOT...
Read moreHorley town has never been short of places to grab a meal, or a light bite. I have lived here many years now and remember a lot of good but gone eateries. There are several good ones still.
Like me, Planet Sweet has also been in Horley a good number of years. However, with the already mentioned big selection of places to eat, I had never been in before.
Yesterday morning, having not had my cornflakes, and wanting Breakfast I popped in. They had a menu with a big selection. I went for the fried egg and beans on toast with a cuppa tea. Probably not the most adventurous of my selections when dining out, but it was very nice indeed. I will certainly be...
